Managed to buy ASM at 8.10am. Not many people there. Queuing number was 3.

Need to pay cash. I brought my cheque but not accepted. Then went to bank and tekan.

EPF cut from 11% to 8%, BLR going down.
so is it me, or i have a feeling the government want more money in the market and less money in savings.
if this is so, then they are going to give less dividends to these ASxx? yes?

Same here. I think next year's dividend going to be less. Hopefully it won't be that bad. As long as the dividend is better than FD rate, then I'm happy.

Didn't manage to buy ASM this time. Queued for a while but the system can never connect. Anyway, had to go back to work so perhaps next time.

luckily got pos office, maybank, rhb, cimb near my office. anyway, manage to buy just now. have to agree that as long as FD rate is lower than ASM/ASW, it is a very attractive option.

Wah..so long...i went to pos office..quite fast...den just now i went to maybank thought wanna top up a little bit more but so long queue...and i heard ppl say 30minutes finish 1 customer...

what to do, the maybank branch having system down. at least i managed to get what i wanted.

out of a sudden maybank has its whole country's system down..=_=..but still managed to top up lah..after 4 hours of waiting..lol

Friend bought ASM around 2.00pm at CIMB.
Maybank branches are slow with system down.
PNB Jalan Tun Razak HQ is fast, took 5min to open account (around 12pm).

Response is slow for ASM today, i think it still available after 2pm

just called maybank, they said ASM still available right now, so who want to purchase then can go on tomorrow morning to have a try, unluckily i couldn't buy any single cent for ASM, here my story, today i went to my area's maybank at 920am, get shock saw a bunch of peoples waiting out there (around 30~40), b4 buying the ASM i need to cancel my FD and take out the money then only i can buy ASM because my saving account got no money inside, when i want to cancel my FD while im waiting for buying the ASM, the maybank staff told me their system will be going down after couple of minutes and they dont know when it will activate back, plus my number was 20 something, so finally i decided to go back and try next time lol. next time lol.
