Just topped up myself. I ask the Pos Office clerk, she says still got 2 million left.

Called and ask PNB office. Not allowed. Only 10k max per person allowed.

Went to Maybank and CIMB to try to open new account but all ran out of passbook
so in manage to open an account

the 10k basis is for daily top up or what? i'm not so sure !

That's the max of the units each person can subscribe to during the offer period.

I can't find the dates of the offer period of ASM off hand.

But for the ASW offered last Thursday, the offer period from was Nov 27 to Dec 3.

ask Cimb if can top up...they say ok...since banyak units lagi..max top up 10k units per day sampai habis. But when try masuk system, system tak bagi...sudah melebihi had unit!!

Then i go Pos Office..the clerk told me quota semua sudah habis...does it mean that diff agent of PNB got diff quota?...i thot all go into central system???

For those who managed to top-up, did they buy any units yesterday ?...or was the previous purchase from earlier trenches?

Amanah Saham offers one billion new units

PETALING JAYA: Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), has announced the addition of one billion new units of Amanah Saham Malaysia (ASM) for subscription from Monday.

With the additional units, the fund size of ASM will increase to 7.2 billion units, according to a statement.

ASM, a fixed price unit trust fund opened to all Malaysians aged six months and above, has a maximum investment limit of 10,000 units per accountholder during the offer period from Dec 1 to Dec 7.

The maximum investment limit will be void after the offer period.

Meanwhile, the 490 million new units of Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020 under the non-bumiputra quota were fully subscribed when the additional units were opened for sale yesterday, ASNB said in a statement.

The units - taken up by 70,713 unitholders, comprising 27,479 new accountholders - were snapped up in six hours and 10 minutes.[QUOTE]

I believe the 10k limit is for this time launch, (see yhuihui post)
so doesn't matter how long is the period,
u still can buy maximum of 10K only..

and I dun think u can top up after 7 Dec,
this 1 - 7 Dec is for you to create new account & top up,
but because you exceed your limit yesterday therefore u cannot top up anymore.
I did buy some yesterday as well and topped up today.. less than 10K so it still goes in.

Hi, u bought some yesterday and today top up some as well..less than 10k still managed to log in...After u've logged in 10k u cant buy anymore during this promotional period.After promotional period, yes u can top up as much as u want.

after promotion period we can top up as much as we want?

how can we top up if there is no more quota/offer from PNB?

Means if offered units not fully subsribed by 7/12, then the 10k units limit per person will be revised.
