I am more a situational. If the DD was USN/Russian, I tend to be more angled, sneaking a broadside from time to time for all guns to bear. USN and Russian DD ROF are scarily high! With IJN DD, I tend to be more gung-ho especially knowing the fella just launched his torps and can't re-launch anytime soon. That is why, I love my Omaha and Nurnberg as I equip them with Hydroacoustics. DD pop smoke and stop, lagi best!! Fish-in-a-barrel!!

Just exited. Need to oi oi early tonight because tomorrow long day of meetings. This evening suddenly got inspiration to play DD so, only played with my Kamikaze and Hatsuharu. Completed my Destroyer Boot Camp mission and even earned Liquidator with my Kamikaze but in that mission, lost because we had a TK player who sank 2 team ships. Watch out for this player by the name of "pinkship"!!!

do not commit too forward, you will get focus by enemy ships, try stay with your team.

Hard to play with unknowns, they usually charge front and got grilled by enemies

DD's role is to scout/spot for the team and in maps where there are capture objectives, capping is the first priority. I've played DD in missions when I scored ZERO torpedos and gun hits but still managed a generous amount of XP in the end from capping objectives.

Fear the USN and Russian DD's guns!!! True that on a per shot basis, damage is minimal but getting rained on constantly with HE and the resultant fires therefrom can kill a BB/CA.
