QUOTE(memphiz_zero88 @ Apr 17 2015, 01:35 PM) for VIP10 user, how about those who upgraded from VIP5 with special price? I upgraded mine from VIP5 to VIP10 last year, and my bill is only RM179 due to the promotion at that time. so the price reduction is useless to people like me, right? Absolutely useless, I hope they don't kacau us cos our RM179 is incl GST. New "cheaper" RM179 rate still have to add 6% GST. My 2-year contract still got 4 more mths to go, wonder what will happen after that. |

Nope, if you check your bills properly you'll see GST is being still being charged despite having promo, unless you're miraculously left out, but I doubt it |

I hope they deduct the promo price from the reduced price package, if not what's the point of this whole thing? promo or not we're still paying the same amount of money This post has been edited by ComposMentis: Apr 17 2015, 08:55 PM |

Telekom Malaysia has announced that it is introducing two new fixed broadband packages, saying it is doing so ‘in full support of the Government’s move towards boosting broadband take-up’. The first of the two new plans will offer downlink speeds of 1Mbps and carry a 1GB monthly data usage allowance for MYR38 (USD10.40) per month; the telco claims this price point is some 57% lower than the cost of its existing 1Mbps entry-level service. This new 1Mbps plan will reportedly be available to consumers from 16 June 2015. Meanwhile, TM has also unveiled a new tariff for those looking to connect via its fibre-optic high speed broadband network, with a UniFi-branded triple-play package offering a 10Mbps downlink rate in addition to fixed voice telephony and IPTV to be priced at MYR179 per month, around 10% lower than the current MYR199 rate; [COLOR=red]the new pricing will become effective from 15 July 2015.
Commenting on the decision to amend its broadband packages, TM’s Executive Vice President, Consumer and SME, Imri Mokhtar, was cited as saying: ‘We applaud the Government’s move to drive broadband adoption, and to increase household penetration from the current 70% in a shorter time … We believe the new 1Mbps package will motivate customers to move up to 1Mbps to experience higher speeds at the same price albeit with the 1GB volume capping – especially those who are currently subscribing to the 384kbps package. Whilst the new 10Mbps package will also help encourage those who are already enjoying high speed broadband to further enhance their experience.’ https://www.telegeography.com/products/comm...adband-tariffs/ u guys happy liao start july 15 2015 |

Unifi called and offer me an upgrade to from 5MB to 10MB package @ Rm169. My binding contract already long over. Not sure if it will bind me to a new contract or not.
Should I take the upgrade? Or cut this off and get the 30MB package instead? I'm looking to upgrade my internet speed anyway. Also will the 30MB package have usage cap? |

hi all, I terminated my Unifi more than one year ago, and I still hv not received any refund for my deposit. Every time I went to TMPoint, I kept getting the same answer saying it is "being process"...
Pls advise what is the more effective way to get this done? Tx. p/s: the reason I terminated my Unifi was due to change of address and my new resident is a "Maxis designated area". |

Anyone facing random disconnection recently ? The only way to get back my connection is restart the router several times.
It happens 3-5 times a day. I make my second complain today, still waiting TM to reply. |
