Tried Tudor black bay yesterday and it looks quite alright. After discount slightly below 12k.not sure if I should pull the trigger as I prefer submariner more.

Go for Sub.

Bb won’t even help you cure that addiction.

That's right. Might be better for me to splurge more on my first choice

Let them know that you are willing to pay premium price (above MSRP) and they will pull one out for you from their vault. That’s how I managed to get my Sub C date without being on any waiting list.

Money talks.

There is a new ruling that came into force not long ago - AD can no longer sell premium. Only RRP

Ah ok. I wasn’t aware of the new ruling.

But actually, I see nothing wrong with paying a premium for desirable models as the old adage “willing buyer, willing seller” holds true here.

As of now, because ADs are no longer allowed to sell at premium, I bet they are selling to grey market instead, who in turn, are pricing these models at above MSRP.

More like they don't have stocks, so push you to get something that's in stock to close the sales lor.

I think paying MSRP is okay.

Anything more, I'd rather wait.

Besides, if you are nice to the AD, pretty sure don't have to wait long for a unit.

Yikes. I would rather pay a 10%-30% premium as before than to buy a full gold Ah Pek Datejust.

Highly doubt any ADs "have stock" for BLNR and Subs these days. All are holding for VIP or VVIP spenders. 50k spend to get to buy basic steel, 100k spend to get to buy Batman or Hulk, which is really quite insane. Of course there is that rumour that, like Hermes, there are the occasional random buyers who do get picked on the list. Cash buyers preferred in these transactions.

I offered to buy a lady datejust just so that I can get a Sub from the AD, but even this offer does nothing unsure.gif
They are working like a cartel because customers are forking out premium prices at resellers (Hulk going at RM50k!) If this outrageous practice stops, the AD will not play monkey anymore.
