Hello,

The information on the thread is correct at time of publication and it was indeed on the market for a while.

It looks like your intention to buy it came at a time when stock is not available, as of now we're still awaiting HQ's update on whether any new batch coming in.

Keep your fingers crossed.

Intel's X99 chipset used to be represented by a long line of huge and bulky EATX or ATX motherboards, because the CPU, chipset, memory and whole layout required an extra large PCB to contain the extreme performance. But that was all yesterday's history. Now ASRock's research and development team has worked out a way to defy logics, and have built an incredibly small mini-ITX form factor motherboard with Intel® X99 chipset's extremely huge performance. Hence the world's first and only mini-ITX X99 chipset motherboard – ASRock X99E-ITX/ac is born!

the 'problem' is that it's about 2.7k per piece.

I don't want/need the USB 3.1 cards and no announcements by ASRock of the WS having the USB 3.1 revision and you can only buy one bloody model in Malaysia anyway. Ridiculous.

ok hehe

for some reasons there are certain models that are always not available in Malaysia. (maybe their distributions are based on market demands)

Unfortunately consumers are often unaware of the complexities behind the trade.

Anyway, that's why we have a thread here. It's good to know what the market is looking for so we can try to work out something that's beneficial for as many parties as possible.

As of now, we're re-organizing some arrangement so there will likely be changes when it comes to product availability.

Bear in mind that what's stated to be available is often based on what is currently being imported, if they're all snatched up quickly then availability goes to 0.

Seriously, why does the consumer need to understand the complexities of the trade? To be sympathetic to the plight of the corporation? Boo hoo, it's so hard to do business here :'( Are you getting your priorities right? What does the consumer want? Can the consumer actually buy your freaking product? That's so basic. If you say the listed models in this thread is available locally, then as a consumer I actually expect to be able to buy it here locally. What 'market complexities' should I take into account?

This thread to me is mindless propaganda for a marketing team to make itself feel good if the consumers here can't actually buy any other model other than a Extreme4 here in Malaysia. Seriously, why bother? It seems that ASRockMY is not even in touch with the market realities here on the ground. You don't even know if the 3 distributors listed on the ASRock website sells the models listed here in the thread.

Dude, chill. It's really as what they said. The thread was started in January, and when did you start hunting? Even by then I notice that some sellers who once had the boards already took it off their price list. biggrin.gif You're just unlucky man, too late to the game so need not be a sour grape.

It's actually not as simple as you think. What they have also depends on what Distributors bring in, and what's available here could be available now but not available later. Things come in by batches and they're distributed out to many sellers so you got to understand that often the one handling threads like this would not have access to LIVE UPDATE data.

I myself have been in contact with many distributors and I can tell you updating own stock daily basis itself is already quite a task. A single distributor alone would have many shops taking goods from them, you can't be expecting them to call all the shops daily basis to check remaining stock and then feedback to the team that's managing this thread, right?
