I think you'll have to use the cooler that's part of the picture.

I don't see how one can mount any of the usual brackets.

My concern is that processors like i7-5960X, it's really hot. It's overclockable but sure it's also not sustainable by a heatsink that size.

Probably have to settle for the lesser processors.

i am happy about asrock's innovations. however x99 in an m-itx form imo is wasting a lot of extendability. (i.e. more ram slots, more pcie slots. maybe i cannot afford to do that yet hehe)

x99 is the chip that i will go for, but i will get atx or e-atx for long-term use.

I'm urgently looking for original 3.5" ASRock USB 3.0 Front Panel exactly like pic below, used to come in certain ASRock motherboard bundle last time. Have searched high and low (Low Yat plaza etc), in the end manage to purchase similar one (oem) online, however wished the qc and finish were much better. Hope could find this ASRock version one, if anyone got this new or used in good condition to let go pls pm me! =)

Thank you for supporting us.

The difference is processor based, chipset affects very little.

That's absolutely right.. only thing is because my old CM Sniper tower is still awesome to replace (design, transparent side panel, etc) so this front panel is exactly what i needed. biggrin.gif

Last check with ASRock HQ - no plans to sell separately but will highlight to them the feedback.

Nobody in Malaysia so far can sell me a ASRock X99 WS motherboard even though you can find a few people in this forum listing it in their price list. lingloong from dotatech quoted me a price but went quiet after I asked for account details to bank in the deposit so that I can order the board. The rest just said not available even though some of them have it in their price list and ETechPC even has a lelong page selling the motherboard even though I've been told they also won't be able to sell me the motherboard. Amazing.

Nobody in Low Yat is selling it and all of them wouldn't even care to check with their supplier if it can be ordered without me asking them to do it (nobody called me back to quote me a price or tell me if it indeed can be ordered by the way). ASRock Malaysia is almost of no help. Only AMT so far is able to sell me the X99 WS but the minimum order is 5 pieces at RM1444. I do not need 5 pieces, I only need one. Almost a month and I still can't buy this motherboard. What a royal pain in the ass to buy an ASRock X99 motherboard here in Malaysia.
