Bug Check 0xA5: ACPI_BIOS_ERROR
Parameter 1 equals 0x11, the system could not enter ACPI mode

You are not having problem with your RAM, you are having problem with your ACPI.This bug check indicates that the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) BIOS of the computer is not fully compliant with the ACPI specification.

You can try reset your BIOS by taking out your CMOS battery. if that does not help, you need to update your BIOS.
*
bro ... for lappy, is there any cmos battery that i can take out to reset the bios? sorry for the noob questions .. sweat.gif ..i've already checked for updated bios but the fix have nothing to say with ACPI compliant ... is it ok if i'm just updating the bios? is it updating the bios is the same with flashing the bios? have read somewhere saying that flashing is kindly dangerous and could make ur lappy not working at all .. is it true? icon_question.gif

If you are not sure.
I do not suggest you do it at your own.
20 to 40 bugs to buy a safety for your laptop is better than 2k for a new laptop.
Get what i mean? Send for shop to troubleshoot and let them handle for you.

Thanks

Your ATI driver is causing your system to crash.
Latest driver?

Hello mr Francis, Im a user who have below blue screen last week...:

" A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appear again, follow these steps:

Check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video adapters.

Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options suck as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.

Technical Information:

*** STOP: 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0xBAAC8756, 0xBACC342C, 0xBACC3128) "

the dump file cant be found under C:\ nor C:\Windows.
and I'd told u that my network card is not working..
below is the advises u gave to me last time:

QUOTE(francischuahcw @ Nov 7 2008, 07:22 PM)
Good
That should be the sign. Check your BIOS if its enable. If its enable and its not working now, turn it off in BIOS and try boot window in normal mode.
When you boot in Safe Mode. Networking is not running. Therefore you are not crashing.
But how can I disable the network card? I saw a MAC Interface under BIOS.
I tried to disabled it and boot in normal mode but the same error came out.
I think I had disabled the correct device right?

QUOTE
If driver is preinstalled from other PC, driver incompatibility will lead to crash. error 0X7E is the symptom.
so does it means it's better for me to reinstall Windows with my CPU?
cause I cant boot in normal and the dump file don't even appear so I cant upload it for analyze.
QUOTE
If you wish to run scandisk, i will suggest you to run from Window CD using the Recovery Console/
Instruction is CHKDSK/ r
Check your PSU cable. Hopefully is power failure and not HDD failure.
*
I have already run CHKDSK and some error is fixed.
and I think that is the cause of my Harddisk not turning last time (?)

in addition, my ATI GC driver cannot be installed as well.
it was detected but when I insert the official CD it cant found compatible driver inside.
does this take part of the crash of my windows and can I disable it as well??

sorry for this very long post..

Yes, i am using the latest driver, ati ccc8.10.
Is there any possibility because of the temp?
I will try setting higher fan speed before gaming and see the result.
Thanks for helping

My suggestion will be try format and install OS from your own PC.
And see how it goes.
Thanks

Hi there,
Debug shows that you are having bad RAM but random pick on other minidump file that you might be having a faulty motherboard as some of the DUMP file cannot be captured properly. Please send your motherboard for checking. It should be motherboard faulty.

Thanks

francis

Good day,
From what i can refer it actually shows that you are having problems with your HDD.
You can try to run scandisk CHKDSK/r to scan your HDD for any bad sector and tries to repair it.
After that, see how it goes and let me know again.

Thanks

I don't think it will fail.
It will just stop there.
if you are afraid, backup all the data you need 1st before doing it.
Else, you can just scan. Run CHKDSK will do. that will go without repair. Just scan and give you a report.

Remember, use Window Recovery Console to do it. Dont do it inside windows.

well,
then you have to run it using your window.
There are still ways to run the Recovery Console, but i do not encourage it.
Just scan your HDD using Windows.

Else, borrow a cd from your friend will do too.

Thanks

Your SuperAntispyware crashes.
It is obvious as of this moment. Please check your HDD, other than that, check the component such as cables and power cable.
Thanks

Ah...i wonder that. That is what being read by the minidump.
Proceed with scandisk for bad sector first, others come later.
We will check one by one.
