Kinda pissed by HSBC.

Applied VS, and received an SMS said approved.
In the end found up they approved Platinum instead of VS.

How can they do this without any notification?

Actually my yearly income exceed their requirement.
Just that I'm not happy about how HSBC treat their customer.

From application form to website status it shows VS, yet when called CS they told me it's actually Plat.

Furthermore they unable to answer me why so, transferred me thru few diff dept end up asked me to call back next day during working hour…

This is my 1st time dealing with them and that leaves me a very very bad impression about HSBC…

Has anybody redeem their points via HSBC recently? I noticed that they do not send any confirmation email now. I am not sure whether my redemption is successful although I managed to capture the reference number.

Actually, I travel overseas quite often & would like to enjoy this Signature card benefit > access to the airport Premium Lounge. But during my last 2 months' application, I click wrongly & apply for Platinum (instead of Signature).

According to HSBC, I can only re-apply for a new HSBC card 6 months later. Is anyone know any method to upgrade the existing Platinum Visa card?

One thing I don't get it with HSBC cards is that if I make payment from my HSBC savings account to my HSBC card, it takes one working day to take effect whereas other banks it is immediate (same bank account to same bank CC).

I always make payments exactly on due dates and I always kena with HSBC.

Say my CC due date is today 10 August. If I go into my HSBC app to make payment to my HSBC card now for today, my payment will only be in effect the next working day, ie. tomorrow 11 August and my CCRIS will be marked as late payment.
Yeah, no choice. Just find it weird, why pay now doesn't means now. Especially more so when I am using my HSBC savings to make payment. If you say making payment from another bank to HSBC cc, then maaaaaaybe I can understand a bit. 3-4 other banks' CC, the payment to CC is immediate.

If my due date falls on a Friday, more GG because if I make payment on Friday, the effect will only take place on Monday (next working day).

So from my HSBC savings account to my HSBC card, is not a direct transfer? How much more direct can it be to be recorded as received immediately?

Can HSBC credit card be waived if i dint use it every month?
I dint receive the HSBC charges for many years now suddenly they are charging it again

1. I applied a HSBC cc and got approved and activated but I don't see any credit card details in the HSBC app. Does anyone happen to know why?
2. I added the CC in apple pay but my only way of verification is calling the 1300-.... line which will lead to the next question...
