I would have assumed like other banks, HSBC would have upgraded your friend's conventional Visa Platinum to VS and cancel the platinum, instead of letting him hold 2 conventional cards.
But being HSBC, anything is possible

Is the additional points shared across different category? For example I swipe RM3750 for online and then another RM3750 at foreign currency. Will I be eligible to get 18750 points x 2 for that month?

So that I can check mine around that time, my statement for this month has been generated and I only spent after it's out to enjoy additional 30 days of interest free. So, I believe I will be able to see x4 in the next statement. Correct?

For Amanah MPower Platinum, is BigPay no longer counted towards spending amount to qualify for 8% petrol and groceries cashback? I reloaded 2k into BigPay, and all my Caltex petrol transactions did not get 8%, still 0.2% only.

Yes, after reading someone managed to get 8% cash back for petrol and groceries after topping up 2k on BigPay.
Then I guess HSBC has excluded BigPay since you’re also earning only 0.2% cash back.
