so up to now, the only FREE option to overcome this throttling thing is by emule obfuscation control ?

any new discovery on how increase download speed without needing to pay extra money for it? blush.gif

As mentioned, free proxy servers. It is a roller coaster ride but at least those tasks with ZERO local peers and was stuck at zero can finally get some speed up biggrin.gif

Yeap, doing and experiencing that exactly. rclxms.gif

Hmm, since someone said worth holding on before signing up for Rilekks, i'll bare with it a 'lil while longer, after getting more feedbacks.

RM 30 for a month subscription of Rilekks doesn't sounds too bad. I probably used that amount of money in two days or maybe a day and a half. blush.gif

are there any difference where we get the torrent file from?

i mean if we all get the same torrent file from same website, will our speed increase during download?

Yeah I noticed that problem as well, once I am on Proxy Mode, I SELDOM, very seldom see a Msian IP on my peer list >_<

Even when I was dl the latest Bleach (yeah lotsa Msian is downloading that), i get all my connection from US and Greece and those overseas places, and no Msian in sight >_<.

Yeah I'll off proxy mode later when i finish most of my files that got pure overseas peers. I need to sleep also, cant afford to keep on changing proxies every 3 hours while i sleep biggrin.gif That is the time when I start seeding.

maradona wat u mean?
if u want to use a proxy then yes you would have to change those options
once u r done downloading, it is advisable to turn off the proxy (dont need to change proxy and port)

i notice something when i trying get death note episode 1 last nite, i can max out my speed for this particular file, which is 60kbps, even though on my peer list are all international peers, mainly japan....

but when i switch to other files, the speed drop back to normal capped speed?

wat does this mean? is it mean we can still get good speed from Asia seeds?

btw , i not using any ST, proxy or any other software to help wit the speed yet.... blush.gif

Same here as well, once in a while a single JPN peer or something will go thourgh and gave me tonnes of speed. (usually 50+kb/s)

But those situauton happen rarely, and often lasted me around 20 minutes or so.

Well now I running proxy to finish some of my files that has only international peers, so i dont encounter this situation for now...

Remember guys, if the main Relakks connection (downloaded executable) is giving you d/c problems, use PPTP instead as below.

https://www.relakks.com/faq/guides/connectionxp/pptpxp.php

Using that and I haven't been d/ced for 24 hours as of now.
Torrents still running at full speed smile.gif

Diego, go to http://www.xroxy.com and choose a Proxy server. The IP address and port number is written there. Use those values. Also make sure you take note on HTTPS(SSL) and Anonymity.

i just having this new theory about slow p2p thingy...

How about if TmNet does not has anything to do with it, BUT the throttling came from oversea's ISP which would be the reason why slow download from oversea's peers but good download speed from local peers...

it makes sense rite?

Makes sense but I believe other users have confirmed that TMnet is using traffic shaping. Shaping would be done @ exchange if there were any.
