no need to explain so much to these people.
which road is not jam when heading to klcc for work? everywhere is the same. if they want a property which is jam-free, cheap, landed, G&G, landscaped and in city centre, they cant get it now.. probably next life. And, if you can afford this type of property, u wont be bothered to watevers discussed in lowyat forum.
People nowadays s picky, yet no money. Pure stupidity.

Yeap... The Sungai Long entrance is very near to the Goodview Height now, which is just merely about 7 minutes drive from Lekas Semenyih toll...

By the concessionaire:

" Planned to be completed in 2018, the EKVE will act as an alternative route to the already congested MRRII by providing bypasses for north-south bound traffic and vice versa, without at all entering KL City Centre and reducing the traffic congestion in KL City Centre.

The EKVE will be a catalyst for balanced urbanization and development growth on Greater Kuala Lumpur through an efficient, a safe and a reliable road for mobility of goods and people. "

It's a full green light from the Federal Government.... Now awaiting the decision from MB Selangor I suppose...

Yes boss.

If one stay in Sunway or Subang with easily exit NPE, it just took 35-45min to reach KL City.

Suggest dos who really keen on EM and EH to drive to the township from wherever you stay to find out the exact location. Then judge yourself. To me it's really really far from mid valley to semenyih. I took a drive last week on Wednesday around 2.30pm and it took me almost 90mins to reach the township!!!!

Do you mind to share the chronology of your travel? Which area jam the most and drag you a lot of time?

Based on my experience, normally Semenyih Lekas Toll to Mid Valley takes only 30 - 35 minutes under normal traffic.

This video shows that the time taken from Bangsar till Semenyih Petronas station takes about 40 minutes.

My personal experience shows that from Seputeh KTM station to Lekas Semenyih on Friday evening (fairly peak hour) takes about 42 minutes..

Bro, without jam is impossible to reach EM from midvalley with the duration of 90mins la... You sure u used the correct way?

If no traffic from Midvalley to EM just about 45-50mins la... I stay in cheras and I always go Midvalley so I know how much time it is taking if there is no traffic. Even from my home i ncheras near Giant also needs about 55-60mins to reach midvalley in the morning if i move around 7:30-7:45am. If EM maybe need extra 20-25mins.

Somemore thhe Ecohill-Lekas exit is going to completed by next month. Pay the toll fee at RM1.10 then skip the jalan semenyih. You will get time reduction of 5-10mins (depends on traffic).

Yeah, should be around that time... Now still need to go through Jalan Semenyih, after Ecohill Link is completed, can save another 5 - 10 minutes at least..

I would say if normal traffic condition on working days, maybe just need about 1hour 25mins to reach midvalley (using ecohill lekas exit). Is quite reasonable already...

Pardon me I'm not well verse with the area. So I use waze but I remember crossing another 2 tolls booth after I enter kajang ( from plus highway) It was my first time there as I wanted to look see look see the township. I used the shortest way as advised by waze. It was a nightmare drive as I remember entering semenyih town which so bloody jam. It was a a short trunk road before reaching the township.
Perhaps there is a better way to reach the township from mid valley via plus exit kajang?
Pls advise.

Not sure why waze is asking you to use NS highway. Normally, I i will exit to cheras then all the way to semenyih. Jalan semenyih at the moment cannot be avoided as the road is small and certain roads will split from 2 lanes to 1 lane where 1 to go straight to semenyih and another way to exit to other areas... Another problem is the traffic light. I would say 2 traffic lights the one that causing the traffic. Once u pass thru McD then is no issue with traffic. Like others said, EcoHill Lekas exit will be opening next month. Try go again and you will skip the whole jam in jalan semenyih. Just pay RM1.10 to exit from Lekas smile.gif
