for me, if can take ktm to kl, just take.. better when mrt is completed, just take mrt
Silk at Sungai Ramal toll to Kajang toll (sg besi highway) is a night mare at peak hour..

my job requires me to be based in client office in various area, shah alam, kl sentral, pj, klcc etc
from kajang, i will just take ktm to kl sentral n klcc area, forget bout driving. you can see ppl parking their BMW at ktm station n commute.
unless i have no choise to drive bcos pj n shah alam are not accessible by ktm or lrt, i have to drive.

the time taken to get thru the jam from sg ramal toll to kajang toll (sg besi highway) some times took half of my total time for my whole journey. thus the jam is standstill most of the time.

occasionally i will take grand saga, pass by connaught to get to pj..

my take is, if living in kajang, try use the public transport

putrajaya wise you can try take the contra road right after sg ramal toll. tat can avoid the jam in front of shell station n turning off to sg besi highway. you will join back near uniten n all the way to putrjaya. the only jam you need to tolerate is the one after sg ramal toll, as many cars try to change lane to get into contra

coming back, take the contra as well, should b smooth tat way.

my office in cyberjaya, usually 20 to 30 minutes..

ya.. i found out npe quite smooth both way.. i tried once like you said, npe n into smart tunnel..

anyway, my estimation is coming from kajang, thus you may buffer 10 to 20 minutes extra if coming from EM..

I see.. how much toll in total? I am not too sure about the lekas semenyih toll. The Silk one i think RM1.00
