hello..wanna ask bout damon braces..i know it has lesser pain n look neater,wanna know d price at skudai,johor.....as there's one dental clinic(Lou dental clinic),but very very expensive...bout RM16k.....so wanna survey the price for doin damon braces la...anyone?

yeah... Lou is very expensive and he's only a gp. but.... he's very experience and apparently pretty good with his hands.....

Hi everybody, can anyone recommend me a good orthodontist (KL) with a reasonable price.. 5K is my budget.. I hope not more than 5k.. I check with lot of clinic, most are more than 5k..

All these price is excluding the x-ray & etc..

In Penang any nice and budget can be recommended? 3K to 4K will be possible in current market? My teeth is not perfect but still consider okay. Only very unsatisfied when the upper gum will show out during a big laugh..can it be corrected too?

I was told by my orthodontist to use mouthwash that does not contain alcohol. Listerine has alcohol in it.

Added on September 4, 2012, 11:35 pmRM16k sounds too expensive for Damon. That's the price for Invisalign. My Damon Clear from Beverly Wilshire (previously known as How's Orthodontics) costs me RM7.5k. Normal Damon (metal) is RM6.5k.

Ok I see you all did ur braces for about 6-7k. Now I would like to know how is the installment like? Every Monthly visit, how much you had to pay?

It depend on clinic and can be negotiate sometimes . Mine is RM 200/month at Whitesmile.

Rm 200 for how many years? Is it you must settle everything by the time the dentist remove ur braces? Or can you continue pay even after ur done with ur braces?

I finish payment on Jan(not even 2 years since I started). Still having treatment now(no pmt required ). Not sure about pmt arrangement if treatment finish first. You can consult the clinic bout this.

Put on braces for upper teeth last week and lower teeth this week.

The doctor put some capping on my upper molar so that it won't hit on the lower brackets when i chew. But I can't pronounce certain words correctly. Is this a standard practise. Isn't there a better way?

Ic thanks. Last question, you happen to know what is the cost for the braces that they fix it behind teeth? I'm guessing since it just putting it behind the teeth I suspect 7-8 thousand right?

hey guys, my lower teeth have some slight disallignment. Do i have to pluck out my back teeth to have braces?

You can enquire bout the price from clinic (i think it's called lingual braces). But it definitely expensive than traditional metal and damon braces.

I got mine when i'm 26. For me it's worth it .
