I heard there are Damon 2 and 3. And Ceramic is a different thing which ppl only get to see 1 wire line across and is not quite visible. Is that true? Really hope to get something that is not too visible.

Yep your teeth will move. To ensure you keep your perfect bite & smile you should wear your retainers for 6 months on a full time basis after your braces come off. After that you'll be advised to wear it every 2nd night for the..rest of your life if you wish to maintain that same bite.

I wore braces for 2 years when I was 16. Cost $5000-6000 AUD. I wrote smart-clips, which are self litigating braces. My teeth were pretty good to begin with, but I had a slight overbite. I dislike ceramic braces cos they look like giant saliva globs.

I think the place which did my braces does invisalign.... I was in waiting room and talking to one of dr reuben's patient wearing invisalign... best to call up the clinic to find out

Just had my braces on.
I chose the Ceramic over Metal brackets (not sure what brand though), and was going crazy with the ties (so many colours to choose from). Doc gave me this Dental Wax (to put on the brackets should I have ulcers nearby) and a Toothbrush after the appointment.

At first, I'm supposed to have 4 of my teeth plucked out but due to the complication that comes from my wisdom teeth, but Doc gave me another option - to put on the spacer, wear braces, and to have wisdom teeth surgery :| (which I just heard from friends that it may cost RM1k+ per tooth!) Is that normal? Braces first and surgery later?

Eating food, gonna be my biggest problem of them all. I can hardly chew, can feel slight chill and pain when using the teeth. Gonna observe my 2nd day now

If u are so afraid of losing any tooth, then just dont do it larh... Maybe u have crowded teeth so u are forced to extract some of the teeth.. Its compulsory larh dude.. I extracted 4 teeth for my braces.. No pain at all..

I really need braces but to lose teeth at my age don't really go down well with me. What happens when i get older and start losing more teeth? You can have a look at my teeth at page 26.

The first two was an unpleasant experience...
but another 2 after 2 weeks from first extration was quite tolerable.. .
Happy with my decision to go thru it. .
My gap has slowly closing up now. .
