I did my bracers at the age of 27 and wore it for 2 years. Cost me 3k plus at penang private clinic. It was well worth it.

I still wear my retainer at night before I go to sleep and take it off when I woke up. Yup u need to wear retainer for the rest of your life because your teeth will move no matter how long u have done your bracers. Don't believe? Try 1 to 2 days without wearing retainer, and then wear it back, u will notice the tightening of your retainer. This sux I know, but u just wear it when sleeping and u save your investment for the perfect straight teeth!

I am 35 this year. .. May I know if age is the constrain of having teeth aligned? Not effective?

Hey guys.. wanna ask about braces for my current teeth..

My teeth is kinda like..

The lower part is in the out off the upper teeth.. meaning upside down from usual teeths.. wondering how much will it cost and the duration for putting the braces on.

depends how severe your skeletal pattern is.... if it's not bad than braces will compensate it in about 2 years time.... cost is the same... averaging around 6k depending on location.....

if it's quite bad, then braces itself will not be able to compensate for the class3 pattern.... if that's the case then you MAY wanna consider orthognathic surgery.... total duration of treatment is about 5 years..... surgical cost in private is as high as RM30k....

i done mine with 4k+.. the dentist is nice!

if u wan cheaper alternative then go government hospital...Rm200++ or 500++ for different kind of braces. of course you have to be in the waiting list 1st

Allo allz...wanna opinion,i've already met with orthodontist then she said that for damon braces da cost is RM4.5k, for traditional braces costing is RM3.8 k. Is it ok?or pricey?which one should i prefer?

cheap.... how about tooth coloured braces?? those ain't that obvious..... normally they are 1k more expensive though....

so 4.5k can be considered cheap aa?tooth colored for those who dont wanna really exposed their braces, but need to pay more.

how much would a new retainer cost? Mine (the plastic one) broke yesterday.. tsk!

@AjiAjo & Snakeyz thanks for replying but i think it is bcs the camera is a web cam only, bcs people do notice my prominent teeth plus mine have gabs in between. If i have a dslr you will notice. I like to know will veneers be able to make my teeth looks straighter?

notice that there's teeth mark on your lower lip? that's due to trapping of your lower lip cause the gap between upper and lower anterior teeth is alot(overjet)..... you probably can't close your lips completely when you are resting rite?

definitely need extraction of 2 upper pre molars and braces for 12-18 months to do it....

i heard about this also, private clinic down payment RM1K then follow up each month pay again around RM200-RM350..
consider very good this kind of service because RM5K++ is too much if we going to pay at once..broke my leg also my mum wont give me RM5K cash xP
