Update :

1 possible solution 2overcome EO vapur/oil @ breather hose wld be :

Firstly, to disconnect the breather hose fr its connection @point after air filter box...& sealing the exposed connector there.
Then...2use a shorter hose 2connect a replacement smaller air filter (seen such being sold) to the rocker cover connector.
That wld ensure intake of clean filtered air into the rocker cover 2replace the EO vapour/oil contaminated air which wld then ONLY b sucked out in2 the Intake Manifold 2b burnt!
Note : No EO vapour/oil shld exit via that new breather hose liao... True? tongue.gif

An alternative wld b 2connect an OCT inbtwin the rocker cover & the intake manifold...2remove the EO vapour/oil.

The promotion is available for 2014 stocks. So you need to go to Proton showroom and ask them if they have 2014 stocks.

And the most value for money car on the market....
buy a small cheaper competitors car from another p company... how much cheaper only? Then get only 3 piston engine... then the car like small sardine can....buy their more ex my## car.... pay through your nose to get expensive lousy beng car which boot cannot even put 10 durians...

So yeah. Saga is a good buy. And I am loving my drive with mine...

Many things that the local competitor P2 has to offer, which hardly can get from Plotong.

1) Timing chain(maintenance free so to speak)
2) Good fuel efficiency 14km/l on the proud MyV1 (compare to driving a tank GaGa 13km/l)
3) Handling(basically understeer and oversteer in 1 small package) turning slow, it go understeer due to short wheel base, turning fast it goes oversteer. When try to counter steer it, can fly!
4) Good resell value. A 2005 MyV1 still can sell 18k. A same year LMST can hardly touch 7k
5) Cik magnet just like a Toyolda Vios
6) Can up capacity to 1600 when use JTX product

Thanks. If you know which showroom has it, let me know. I scare those showroom want to push more revenue and mislead me no stock. Tried to ask one showroom, no stock.

this one only available on the overly expensive my#$ which if you calculate back 50+k rm for a cheapo small car...

with 15" city rims tks to Davidke20 my gaga can get up to 17km/l if driven sensibly below 120km/h

i have seen many my$#s accident ended up spinning...

So really up to you and your pocket. For me i wouldnt pay 50+k for a small cramped beng car or a sub standard 20k v#$a now rebadged a#$×a because previous name many many people died due to car roof ripping off in an accident exposing occupants...

Forgot to mention.... gaga can put 56 durians in the boot... p2 car can or not?

TQVM. Time to hunt for a OCT and diy time. 45k Liao now then notice. Reviews also say Oct can help prolong engine life as it can prevent sludge in the overhead camshafts and cylinders.

The hose that is connected 2the point after the air filter box, is as yu called it the "breather" pipe ie it allows the rocker cover space 2"breathe".
It allows filtered air 2b sucked into the rocker cover area.
That "clean" filtered air wld replace the air (with EO vapour in it) sucked out fr the rocker cover via the other hose into the intake manifold...

Sincerely hope Bros can picure the flow...

As such, the breather hose shld not hv EO vapour/oil...normally... whistling.gif
However if engine is revved high frequently, the suction @connection pt after filter box may b higher than normal resulting in EO vapour drawn out there, too!!

Actually both is outlet. I say like this is because the engine is creating positive pressure. The IM is creating negative pressure due to the vacuum and air intake. Vacuum in the IM will be the strongest during idle and when you WOT the positive pressure from engine will be the highest. So as we learn higher pressure air will always flow towards low pressure side or in this case the high pressure gas/vapor will flow out of the engine rocker cover. Crankcase will only have positive pressure due to heat and expansion of vapor. After I have hook up my setting I can see a lot of vapor comes out from both outlet at cold start be ause I'm using transparent spring hose. You can use a small air filter at the outlet but overtime the vapor will condense at the small filter and start to drip.

I almost forgot. I went to pump petrol yesterday.

In front of me was a latest Honda Crv.

The lady was pumping Ron97. What I saw on the Honda Crv's fuel cover inside was a sticker which states... "RON91 and above".

So if even a Honda Crv needs Ron91 only.... wasting money pumping more rons that needed is well a big waste.
