I believe that Top Coat is the only solution to your problem. Get any...flat, gloss, semi gloss....just spray it to protect the Gold. Coz you can't paint the same spot over and over again...unless you scrape off the previous paint.

how to do dry brushing ?
But since i'm already get a spray can, i think i will still using it, not to waste it..but still want to know how the dry brushing works. hmm.gif

Here's 2 writeups on dry brushing:

http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/howto/drybrush.htm

http://www.seekingsolis.co.uk/miniatures/drybrush.htm

Basically, what it is is when you dip a paint brush into paint (no thinning), then wipe the paint off the brush. Wipe off as much as you can. Then you run the brush over the areas you want to dry brush. The little remaining paint left on the brush will stay onto the raises areas of the models. This is pretty useful for weathering, as it gives better control than spraying.

Don't think spray or marker will make any difference here, its the paint in the spray-can and the marker that would. What you can do is probly to spray onto some unwanted piece of plastic, then see what the results is like after a few days.

that's what this thread was originally for...

I even learned how to cheat in creating the weathered effect...try dampening a bit the area you want 'weathered' then spray with flat coat....voila!...heheheeheh...

Something about the wings on the MG Strike Freedom, and I heard one have to be careful that the wings are aligned AND be secure at the same time.

Don't worry, it will be reproduced like in July.

Bandai has already stated that it is not a one-time only release, but you have to be patient.
