QUOTE(Zeroth @ Dec 9 2006, 01:47 AM) Yes, I am studying in Subang. Actually i am from Sabah, so pretty worried how to bring back my Gundam to Sabah, hope wont get scold by parents. errr...maybe u can try this.."MA! PA! Better gundam than drug isn't it?...."heheheheh...btw, i need to ask.. I already completed six gundam mg models and and six more waiting to be assembled. my question is: 1. Without painting, is there any way I can make the models lose its 'plasticky n toyish' look? 2. If i resort to painting, what sort of paint will make the model look 'solid n heavy'? (eg gloss, semigloss etc?) thanks in advance guys n gals.... This post has been edited by boyarque: Dec 9 2006, 10:47 AM |

QUOTE(infested_ysy @ Dec 18 2006, 08:29 AM) extra hidden hands of crotch lololol. agreed... Zeons are sexual. Everyone, from now on, we ignore him and his comments. 12 year olds aren't allowed to be using the interbutts. It's demographics like him that makes the new gundam shows suck (lol INVINCIBILITY CHEAT MODE AND MAIN CHARACTER PLOT ARMOR ON KEKEKE). even I collect gundam models out of respect for Bandai's engineering and artistic detail they put into their models...I admit, the first Gundam I have is a MK II mg 1/100, was a testbed to see what the fuss about gundam is all about. And aile strike gundam just make me hooked to Gundam, due to the design genius... |

QUOTE(300078 @ Dec 20 2006, 07:50 AM) I totally agreed that the CE mecha looks good in design just that the storyline is damn bad especially the SD one (I lost all my feelings of CE because of Kira since he is crazy dude that tears off enemy weapons and humiliate his enemy leaving them to be kill by others.) true...true..the UC design are more militarily realistic in my opinion, thus my current interests in Gundam models...The reason why the CE era bad guys are a failure is that the creators gave the baddies a Gundam instead of a mono-eyed MS which back then in the UC era usual practice. The sentinel series MS design are really outstanding for a design date of 1990 or 1991. Hope more MG kits can be done in that series and also the AOZ is also great. |

wow...so far this topic has been most enlightening to noobies modeler like me.
I hope maybe one day we could arrange a gathering of some sort for our group. It would be nice to see the face behind the nicks. Hmm...maybe we should recommend to Pak Lah to subsidize all model kits since it could promote inter-racial understanding and prosperity..... |

QUOTE(hokuan @ Jan 17 2007, 05:37 PM) You don't have to understand the language at the net,use ur eyes to see..Then there'll be a rating below the review.. sometimes seeing is just not enough...picture can be deceiving, but one word can xplain many things! can picture tell how tight we need to screw? can picture describe the experience of the modeller building the kits? can picture xplain the correct technique? one easy example...do you buy cars just by looking at the picture?...if you do, then pray you got the better deal... |

QUOTE(subimpact @ Jan 18 2007, 01:28 AM) tant pis , a bientot ahah, mon ami....tu et francais? bonjour, bonjour...(perancis celup mana mai lak nih...) btw dalong provides very good review one each models he got .. that is if u understand korean .... agreed with u about dalong, furthermore it assembles the model right out of the box, no painting just detailing, which gives us clear picture about what the kit will look like out of the box... but like i said, it would be nice to understand what he was commenting.... |
