Nope, I am actually waiting Celcom to settle my porting out request. Gonna call them tomorrow if still haven't done. The battery stat end for today.

Bro how about this. Try going on airplane mode and see how your battery fares? The other forumers do have a point when they say your phone drains battery trying to locate a signal tongue.gif.
And if u really wanna take care of your battery I would suggest not letting it discharge past 20% very frequently. Shortens the lifespan haha yes I know it's nitpicking but owh well biggrin.gif

I heard very bad reviews on Machines too.
*
the service was terrible at Mid Valley's Machines, they didn't even entertain me.
I waited for almost half an hour and i couldn't take it anymore i just left and tried my luck at Gardens Machines and it was wayyyy better than Mid Valley.

I tipped the guy who entertained me 10 bucks laugh.gif

Your phone keeps searching for network and hence the battery drain.  doh.gif

Try again when you have network.
*
Got network today, will see how it goes. Even sim card not yet register show no service it still will keep searching for network? Sorry I am coming from android so still not familiar with apple product, is the usage time = on screen time when we touch the screen and using it? Or usage time was counted as well when the screen lock?

Switch is indeed another excellent option to get our Apple products. I have bought stuff from the Switch outlets in Bukit Raja SC and the two newer ones in AEON Kulaijaya as well as Mesra Mall Kerteh, and the staff there were very friendly and helpful.

When I was in Kulai on business back in late 2014, I met my company's partners at AEON Kulaijaya and thought of getting my wife an iPhone. Fortunately, there was a Switch outlet in the AEON Mall and after I bought the phone, the staff even told me what to do when connecting the phone to iTunes, for set up. That was a very nice gesture, even if I've been using an iPhone + iPod touch for years and am familiar with the procedure! rclxms.gif

Too bad there are not many Switch outlets here in Greater KL, as the only outlets here are in Bukit Raja and The Mines. Penang Apple fans are so lucky they have such a good Reseller at their region! thumbup.gif

Really? That's such a slap to Switch's brand name, considering they has been around since 1995 and already has a reputation for being one of the longest-operating Apple Resellers here in Malaysia! blink.gif

Apple's usage time is not equivalent to Android's Screen On Time, because even if your screen is not on (i.e. phone calls, listening to music/podcasts. etc) it is still counted as usage time.

I understand the issue of android device as I also coming from android. My android was like sucking electricity from wall plug 24/7. lol

Yeah, Switch should directly compete with Machines and open up few store in Klang Valley. I'd choose to buy from Switch.

Hahaha, me too!

In the Greater KL Region, Switch has stores in Bukit Raja and The Mines, as well as a Campus Experience Store in KDU Damansara Jaya. Who knows whether they will open outlets in new malls like Atria DJ (although that will kill their KDU shop), Tropicana City (MyBytes has closed down, and there are a few vacant lots there), or even the new Vision City (is there any Apple Store in that place, by the way)? biggrin.gif

But one thing's for sure - many new malls have Apple Stores as significant tenants (some of them are big shops of two lots or more), which only goes to show how popular Apple products are, amongst today's Malaysian consumers! thumbup.gif

Well, MyBytes were initially at the Ground Floor lot just behind the escalator where the stage is (I definitely remember them as I bought loads of accessories, when I was still using my iPod touch 5). They then moved to Level 1, in a much smaller lot, before I saw their FB posting mentioning about their last day of trading on October 25, 2014.

And coincidentally, several other tenants have also closed shop in Tropicana City. Who knows, if the management plans to draw in another Apple Store, why not Switch? They don't have a presence in PJ other than the KDU Campus Center, and Trop City is also one of the few "major" malls not to have an Apple Store, at present! rclxms.gif

Mac Studio is big in KL, for sure, with two in Low Yat Plaza alone. But they have also entered PJ with two nice outlets, one each in Paradigm Mall and the Live! store in Jaya SC. I especially like the Jaya one, as it is more lifestyle oriented and they have loads of cool headphones as well as iPhone dock speakers to play with! laugh.gif

Service wise MacStudio is ok right? I like to buy stuff there because MacStudio is less crowded however their store is no where near my area, force to buy from Machines instead doh.gif

Well, I bought an iPhone car charger from Mac Studio Live! in Jaya SC and the guy who served me was not too bad. He handled my queries well and also gave me some good recommendations, in order to help me decide on which charger to get.

Where are you staying, Xirality, if you don't mind me asking?
