Hi all, the attachment is my battery usage today. Well I really don't know how to justify whether it is good or bad. Please enlighten me. I really curious how some forumers review that their 6 plus can last up to 11-12, some even reach 15-16. Even some last two days without charge. That's was really impressive. My day time usage not much tho.

QUOTE(wengjoe @ Jan 12 2015, 07:40 PM) An official Apple retail store from Apple itself is what we needed the most. I wish the real Apple Store will open here too! none of the Apple reseller in Malaysia can match the top-notch quality kind of service provided by Apple. If they really do, one perfect place with the best crowds is the extension to Pavilion, or even in Avenue K (with their logo on the nice glassy facade of that mall)! QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 12 2015, 11:18 PM) I cannot recall, bought it when I was in Beijing. It was through Xiaomi official site on Tmall. I think RMB 99? Wow, very affordable price! Should be around MYR55+, based on today's exchange rate? This post has been edited by THTgadgets.com: Jan 12 2015, 11:20 PM |

Morning guys. I have some questions/rants as a new user who migrated from Android. Please do share if you have a solution for the following gripes:
1. Why is it so hard to share pictures from Safari/Chrome to WhatsApp? On Android, I could long-press the picture and a menu would pop up allowing me to share directly to WhatsApp. On iOS I can't seem to find an equivalent action. I tried using the share button on the toolbar, and even then there's no extention for WhatsApp (yet Viber has one). I've now resorted to saving the picture then sharing it from inside WhatsApp. 2. SwiftKey for iOS sucks! The Android version was freaking awesome, and most of the nice stuff hasn't been carried over. There's no support for Malay, and even the "tap spacebar to insert prediction" feature has been replaced with the iOS standard "double tap to insert period". To make things worse, 3rd-party keyboards are automatically disabled in password fields, causing it to switch back to the default keyboard whenever a password is required. 3. I find double-click for task switching and double-tap for Reachability a bit annoying. It would be nice if I could double-tap to open the task switcher, at least then I wouldn't feel so guilty about wrecking the home button in record time. A friend of mine who's using a 4S told me that the home button tends to get damaged easily, and recommended that I use the little floating box that's part of assisted touch. I'm doing that now, but I often find myself unconsciously double-clicking the home screen as it's the more natural action. |

A switcher 1. Why is it so hard to share pictures from Safari/Chrome to WhatsApp? More what's app issue coz they did not update thier system to allow this. Other apps who support it, can share direct. 2. Swype still new in iOS, hence suck. I moved to iOS keyboard and got used to it. Better for me as swype no Chinese character support. Miss the swipe left to delete feature though 3. Yea same here. Home button is the weakness of Apple product. The first to KO regardless iPhone or iPad. Using assistive touch too. I Don't use reachabity as its a gimmick. Coming from android phones, use to the big screen anyway. |

Well, the battery life depends on usage and you did play a game, so maybe that takes a little bit out of it.My phone is now on 1 Day, 8 Hours since the last full charge, usage of about 6 hours and 60% battery left. Although I did plug it in to sync with iTunes and back it up last night - maybe I got additional 5% or 6% of battery life then. No games though, mostly just browsing with Safari, Facebook and Whatsapp. |

Please do share if you have a solution for the following gripes: No. 1, that is how iOS works I guess. I hate that it's inconsistent. Sometimes I can share to WhatsApp sometimes I can't. It varies with the app I use. Editing photos is a pain in the arse if you use multiple apps. You'll have duplicate photos in your gallery and you have to manually delete them. No. 2 , SwiftKey just started. Yeah there's no option for Malay and I think if there were, there is no support for simultaneous languages and No. 3 is fixable by jailbreaking I guess, then installing a tweak. Do you value warranty or your home button? Pick your poison xD1. Why is it so hard to share pictures from Safari/Chrome to WhatsApp? It took sometime for them to release an update for iOS 8 to fix the ugly interface on the 6 Plus, so it'll probably be a matter of time. That said, ya, it's a little annoying that you have options to share in Twitter, FB and even Flickr but not Whatsapp 2 - Totally agree with you on this. SwiftKey isn't that useful on iOS compared to Android. I had Swiftkey on my iPad Air and on my Galaxy Note 3 and it was a world of difference. I find that it was more intuitive on my Note 3. I don't mind it being disabled in password fields but it also doesn't work on username/email fields, which was a pain. 3 - I never did like the virtual home button on my screen so I'm pressing the home button all the way. If it wears out before my warranty period is over then good, I'll claim. But if it wears out after the warranty period, err, well, we'll figure out something. That said the home button on the 4 and 4S was problematic but I think the one on the 5 and 5S was better already. I maybe wrong though, I had the 4 for 2 years and the 5 for 1.5 years and both were still OK when I sold the phone, although, the 4 did feel a little dodgy towards the end. Standby time on the 6Plus is unbelievable. Whole night from 12am - 8am, the % didn't drop at all. Crazy man...
