If not for the Maybank Treatpoints redemption, AMEX 5% rebate, 5x Treatpoints, 0% installment, extra 1 year warranty, I definitely will buy from Apple Store without think twice.  tongue.gif BTW, what capacity did you get?

Is this the one from ipmart?

Interesting. Hahaha. Treatpoints... laugh.gif

But presently at most telcos and retail stores, iPhone 6 seems to be sold out, even for the 16GB variant, where else there are bits of 6 Plus stocks here and there. Does this suggest that most prefer the 6 over 6 Plus, or is it just a stock imbalance?
*
I dunno but most of my colleague opted for 6. only 1 person bought 6 plus. their reason is the size.

me too, inclined to buy the 6~

your question should be 16g or 64g~

the latter will always be recommended. my friend regretted getting the 16g.

ya, sorry guys, typo error, no 32g, actually i plan to get ip6 oni, after see the review, direct consider 6 plus for added on feature.. got budget concern since plan not to take 6 plus initially

my fren just had 5GB left, with just 2 pages of apps installed, and he have to properly manage the format of the video taken, and constantly deleting them to get the storage back.

Alright thanks. Unplugged 7am this morning, connect with WiFi at around 9am. Now 99% with usage time 59 minutes, standby time 4hours 16mins.  hmm.gif I actually don't even do anything, just browse some insta and paranoid checking battery usage on screen ~.~
*
defak mang i would be very happy already. I kept on looking at my battery usage all the time on my Android devices, because.. on standby it still drains like hell. huuuarrghhhh

Haha I wanted to enjoy it haven't even sync my contact over to the new phone as I scare anything goes wrong need send for warranty claim or hard reset everything have to do over again. Just want the battery life work up to the expectations of what fellow forumers have with their 6 plus.

I understand the issue of android device as I also coming from android. My android was like sucking electricity from wall plug 24/7. lol
*
you think too much mang. i still use Android, cuz you know, preferences. Even tho i still hate the inconsistencies of the camera and battery life(standby especially).

I tried my friend's 6 and 6 plus camera. never disappoints for point and shoot and noob like me.

Hahahha maybe. Depends on which desktop machine i'll be using.

Considering either Mac Mini or Building desktop rig. If I end up using Mac Mini then i want it synced. hahahaha.

Morning guys. I have some questions/rants as a new user who migrated from Android. Please do share if you have a solution for the following gripes:

1. Why is it so hard to share pictures from Safari/Chrome to WhatsApp? On Android, I could long-press the picture and a menu would pop up allowing me to share directly to WhatsApp. On iOS I can't seem to find an equivalent action.  I tried using the share button on the toolbar, and even then there's no extention for WhatsApp (yet Viber has one). I've now resorted to saving the picture then sharing it from inside WhatsApp. doh.gif

2. SwiftKey for iOS sucks! The Android version was freaking awesome, and most of the nice stuff hasn't been carried over. There's no support for Malay, and even the "tap spacebar to insert prediction" feature has been replaced with the iOS standard "double tap to insert period". To make things worse, 3rd-party keyboards are automatically disabled in password fields, causing it to switch back to the default keyboard whenever a password is required. shakehead.gif

3. I find double-click for task switching and double-tap for Reachability a bit annoying. It would be nice if I could double-tap to open the task switcher, at least then I wouldn't feel so guilty about wrecking the home button in record time. A friend of mine who's using a 4S told me that the home button tends to get damaged easily, and recommended that I use the little floating box that's part of assisted touch. I'm doing that now, but I often find myself unconsciously double-clicking the home screen as it's the more natural action. sweat.gif

1. Not an iOS user here but read this - https://developer.apple.com/app-extensions/
This is something need to be made by the app developers, as iOS doesn't have this feature built in the OS itself, which Android have since the beginning.

2. This is known, so yeah. wait for updates~

3. This is preferences i guess. I hate it too. But my friend using 6 plus said its useful. idk but its meh for me. they should think other implementation method.

Just saw the video, and I think Activator alone is more than enough reason to give it a try (at least then I can double tap the home button to activate the task switcher). I read that I can restore via iTunes before sending the phone back for warranty, so it's not a one-way road.

Since extensions are now a part of iOS 8, I'm guessing I'll just have to sit back and wait until WhatsApp gets updated to make use of it. sad.gif

At least its possible now! haha previously no options of getting the sharing option if Apple never introduces Extensions.
