what did the SC do to rectify this problem?
*
Removed the hose, cleaned the old inside to remove any old sealant, then reapply new sealant.

Basically nothing changed just reassemble.

i saw ard the front windscreen the black color part which suppose to be glue to hold the windscreen onto the body, but can see like hairline crack propagate all around the windscreen, i think is the glue itself being eroded by water... dunno will be worst or not..

Hi guys, I'm considering to get preve exec.

-Is the fc that bad?
Some say good, while others say that it's horrific. The data in fuelly is kinda varied. Some 7km/l whereas some is as good as 13km/l if I'm not mistaken. Saga blm full tank can go max 300km (rare occasion). So anything better than this is good!

-Weight to power ratio? Any problems with steep roads?
I remember a popular post in LYN saying that preve exec couldn't climb up genting or steep hills and this worries me. I asked SA and it's only logical that the SA says it's not underpowered. Is this problem resolved?

Pick up?
- I use to drive a saga blm 1.3 and the pick up is quite bad. It's famed that proton is underpowered below the 3k rev. But I do pray someone here can tell me it's not the case for preve exec!

-Will it void warranty if I were to change the headunit? Some say cut wires = void but some say no problem. Mixed answered from prevec fb group.

I'm driving preve manual exec, hope these could help u

-Is the fc that bad?
8km/l +- (town area, 50 50 heavy footer)

-Weight to power ratio? Any problems with steep roads?
No problem if you wanna exit junction or something on steep hills,
Genting touge? Definitely NONO, underpower (Weight to power ratio).

Pick up?
Could only feel the power kick in after 2k.

-Will it void warranty if I were to change the headunit? Some say cut wires = void but some say no problem
Based on my research, cutting wires for HU definitely void HU warranty.
Unless it is a plug and play unit, try ask EA Autoworks.

Above are solely based on my experience. Hopefully some sifu can correct me if i'm wrong.
Anyway, if you're the type which is "need4speed", pay extra and get CFE variant.

No, not tauge. My concern would be it's power going up hills like genting smile.gif

That's not too shabby

Preve paint no worth do coating, cos too thin. when times up just change a new painting. Unless u do wrapping, then it is ok. And the paint job is shit at some area, becos the paint havent fully dry they do clear coat already.

my dad bought a new honda jazz 2015, even they say honda cvt how good, how godlike also, and say how thrashy proton cvt is, i feel low speed similar characteristic with honda jazz too, like u press pedal until5-10km/h suddenly u release pedal will jerk abit or not smooth, it is the same. I heard the CVT whine too, just very quiet and the engine noise is very very low compare to proton. But compare CVT, more or less the same, except the whine is lower.

btw anyone know what is the size for the bulb for rear car plate?

Where can I find the guides for the turbo hose mod? Googling doesn't help at all.

German sausage? If thats what you mean, you just need to open both of the hose, in and out, tie with cable tie and fix it back.. you can go wrong in doing it..
