After 10k service. I want to do these.

1. Sound proofing using autoform ( feels like uncomfortable to hear vehicles and tyre sound outside) - expected damage RM880.00

2. Change to Red Black leather seat - expected damage RM1600

3. Add tinted ( currently using prefe stock tinting film . Anyone knows about the light transparency on windows using preve stocks tinted? If I put additional tinted, jpj will disturb tak? - expected damage RM1000.

Foaming is more of a handling upgrade comparing to noise reduction . So gotta double confirm wat u need with ur budget bro

Just some soundproofing tips . Tire noise is the most subjective part of soundproofing. Money spent might be a lot but difference u get might not be up to par .

Try changing a better tires first .

As for sp . Best n safest place to start would be ur rear boot . Which if done completely would cover part of ur rear wheel arch too .

1.6 k for leather is gud price also depending on brand n quality not familiar bout leather but dk brand ( reputable one ) going for around 2 .3 ? Something like tat

As for tint . Hmm double layer tint ?
maybe on the 4 doors yes . But not recommended for the front windscreen . Worried the 2nd layer added would make the vision blur .

i check the features for this model, it comes together with reverse camera.

a lot HU come with reverse camera ready, but the camera need to buy separately. It mean u can plug and play the camera with the HU without modification.
Even the previous Bosch HU has it.

Hi bro

My father preve is giving a loud whining noise when gaining speed from a standstill and when on low rev

Already schedule a appointment with service centre next week but what could be the possible problem?

My PREVE (turbo) sometimes takes a longer cranking to get started, especially the first start in the morning. Usually after pressing the START/STOP button, engine will crank for about 1 second and got started. However, lately, it seems that the cranking will drag on for 2 seconds or more for the very first starting in the morning. Any PREVE owners here have this issue? Can share your experience if it's normal?

I've read in the forum that those pioneer batch (2012) of PREVEs do have this problem, and I thought it should be resolved by now, 2015, no?

For me,it doesnt matter whether cold start or normal

Quite unlikely because I have a voltmeter gauge on the 12V ciga socket and it'll show 12.4V +/- 0.1V before starting each time. I have also confirmed the accuracy of the voltmeter gauge with my SANWA digital voltmeter with direct connection to the battery terminals and it's within +/-0.15V. Furthermore, my PREVE is only less than 2 months old.

If it cranks hard, turn off the engine and take out the key fob.

Then reinsert back, press start button once, press once again, hold brake, press and hold the start button.

The engine will still fire eventually, except that the cranking takes much longer (2 seconds or more) than usual to be "cut-off". I believe the engine has already started, just that the power to the starter motor is still not "cut-off". This problem was commonly highlighted on the pioneer (2012) batch of the PREVEs. I thought PROTON should have resolved it by now. Otherwise, in the long run, I'm afraid it'll damage the starter motor prematurely.

I've applied the normal method to start: insert fob, press START/STOP once to activate ACC, press START/STOP another time to activate ignition and listens for the fuel pump activation to complete, step on footbrake and see green light on START/STOP button, finally press START/STOP again to crank the engine.

The next time, I'll press and hold the START/STOP button during cranking and see the outcome.

Standard camera with distance marking indicator should costs about RM120. Wide-angle ones will cost more though.
