11 months persona sv, there is some sound coming out from left passenger door, "cit cit cit", when there is horizontal movement, like breaking, speeding up. Its not from the absorber, its from the door.
Anybody has experienced in solving such cit cit cit sound prob? |

Hey guys,
My persona had a weird soft "tit tit tit tit" sound whenever my speed reaches 60KMPH and above. Initially thought got batu between the wheels, but i've checked and found nothing. The sound seems to come from the front and since it only "make noise" during 60, it's difficult for me to track what's wrong. Belt? I did change LCP last 2 years ago. |

QUOTE(dinnor @ Jan 7 2015, 02:31 PM) This one change sudah...Bumper front persona cheap only...about hundred plus can get depending on which variant you want. The 1st gen persona/gen2(persona fastback)...is about RM150-180,RM100 also can find, without paint...paint will set you back about RM150-200 per panel...so its about Rm400. If broken through like yours, McGyver also cannot fix. Put so much plaster on such a break would only cause uneven weight and your bumper to rattle in the long run, then clip break again. Wasting time to ketuk2.This post has been edited by WanTheBear: Jan 7 2015, 04:50 PM |

QUOTE(ShadowSkill_Elle @ Jan 6 2015, 03:36 PM) but the first page one is ceramic brake pads wo, also dusty ya? how much is the Trestor Metallic Plus price range? Mine B-Line, so the braking really bad This one same materials as bendix but without the titanium strip. The strip has been blended into the compound, hence, you get even wear throughout the pad. Bendix, in my use, ive found the rest of the pad wears faster than their "patented strip" so the strip wears into your rotor causing distortion. The dust and wear rate is also quite low, havent change for 2 years already. These brakes, if i remember correctly, costs about RM400 for all around disc brakes, go pm the sifu from the gen2 forum, nicely.(He might try to sell you the enlarged air intake snorkel) If M-line and below, if i remember correctly the brake pumps/servo are smaller than those that use all around brakes cause its the same as blm 1.3's. can change that if this is not enough. note: if i remember correctly. Though im surprised ppl are complaining about the brakes in the SV, i thought all the safety features (Abs/EBD/ESP and all that crap) were retrofitted from the preve? Should perform fine, right? (which i enjoy using btw, in my preve, a much larger car) This post has been edited by WanTheBear: Jan 7 2015, 04:38 PM |

Just service my Persona SV (AT) at Proton World Car Care Services, Seri Kembangan (Recommended as Serdang SC) for 20k km package. Below is the receipt.
![]() Below is the recommended service table for each interval. ![]() If compare the receipt with the service table for 20k km u can find that they do something more such as:- 1 - Brake Fluid : RM10.92 2 - Coolant : RM31:00 3 - Fuel Filter : RM39.92 4 - Oil Cleaner : RM41.00 5 - Transmission Oil : RM149.80 So total extra price I need to pay for my 20k km = RM272.64 So which one is the right one? Aren't they should follow the service table? I notice this after the service. |

Motive? To get extra sales? |

QUOTE(frenz @ Jan 7 2015, 05:10 PM) If according to the service table provided:- Wah! So nice SV can extend the service interval for certain things.1 - Brake Fluid : RM10.92 at 40k km 2 - Coolant : RM31:00 at 30k km 3 - Fuel Filter : RM39.92 at 60k km 4 - Oil Cleaner : RM41.00 - None (This one optional I think) 5 - Transmission Oil : RM149.80 at 40k km But all of this they do in my 20k km service. Motive? To get extra sales? Why you no highlight when they explain what they going to service before starting? |
