Hey guys,
My persona had a weird soft "tit tit tit tit" sound whenever my speed reaches 60KMPH and above. Initially thought got batu between the wheels, but i've checked and found nothing. The sound seems to come from the front and since it only "make noise" during 60, it's difficult for me to track what's wrong. Belt? I did change LCP last 2 years ago.

Belt maybe? really annoys me as the faster you go, the louder the tit tit tit tit sound. Worried it might be something major.

Guys, seriously in need for advise. I once posted here about "tak tak tak tak" sound from somewhere in the engine compartment. I've ask 2 mechs, 1 from repair workshop, 1 from tyre, both said dunno what is the sound about. No fix had been done.
Now after several months, it gets louder and it can be heard from 30kmph onwards.
Can any members message me your mobile number so that I can send the sound clip to you. I'm wondering if this is the infamous AIFM problem.
Please help. Thanks.

Sound come from behind engine? Itu satu ketul besar besar punya?

Problem is........when I asked someone to step on the pedal in neutral, there is no tat tat tat sound coming from the engine!
Only happens when the car moves and I can hear the sound. How to identify the location when the car is moving?
Go to shops with the dyno setup? Vroom vroom to simulate the sound? I'm lost.........

Where are you from? Ada kedai said can repair instead of changing whole IAFM module. Not those that bypass iAFM. you can try. Zordaq racing.

find an empty road drive, when got tak-tak noise quickly release acceleration pedal and shift gear to neutral let the car coasting itself. if no difference in noise level means non-engine and non-gearbox related.
i suspect something from your wheel...

Guys, issue solved. Told my dad about the concerning noise, he said "come let's go find my old mech friend".
Went to the shop, let the old uncle test drive, instantly told me the tyres are "dead" and the suspension a bit soft but still can work.
Wasn't that convinced it's the tyres because other shops didnt manage to catch this, so he challenge me "uncle has been a mech for 40+ years, if the sound still exist, you dont need to pay me the tyres, deal?".
End up............I need to pay......... laugh.gif
