QUOTE(DarkSilver @ Feb 17 2015, 06:22 PM) I know, that's why I said I am agreeing on what they said and commented. But, they insisted me why I change my opinion suddenly...? Because I read the wiki, but claimed wrong by people here. So, I just wanna seek a confirmation. But the logic here is: When I said 1+1 = 3, I was proven wrong and was corrected by people, taught me 1+1=2, I learned. But, in the future, I can't use this correct way? Because what? You can't apply what you learned? Learned from wrong, fixed problem, continue with correct way... isn't this correct? Or keep repeating mistakes? Thanks for the very detail answers. Happy CNY and Holiday. QUOTE In essence, the Topre switch feels first like a refined rubber dome The switch action is very smooth, with a tactile bump that you can feel near the top of the stroke. After the bump, the resistance is almost flat, making it difficult to avoid bottoming out. You can not feel the mid-stroke actuation point. It bottoms out distinctly with a "thock" sound. Some Topre keys are very light, which can lead to unintended key activations; this happens especially on keyboards that have differently weighted switches for different fingers. The wiki is kinda true, and but it's confusing. It's written by a guy that only try topre once not long term (He is referring to an uniform 45g Topre switch for keyfeel). And it's just a very introduction of Topre general information. Most people will misinterpret the meaning of the keyfeel written in Deskthority website. I bolded the important points about Topre. - Topre feel like refined rubber dome - The tactile bump near top of the stroke (~4mm) - "thock" sound when bottoming the keystroke And there are lots of information that not written in the wiki. Only real users know it, maybe keep it as secret. And you can look back at your previous posts, most of the part you actually misinterpret. |

I prefer full layout, LED is not a priority and budget is quite flexible as long as it is worth the money. But not too expensive though =P
