QUOTE(Fizzy-Fiz @ Jan 9 2015, 11:07 AM) Well you can argue both ways. Anyway the friend who lent me 7g is due looking for upgrade and his wishlist includes a topre so im not too concerned. Also, theres been a number of units sold via garage sales and they seem to catch fire just go buy what you want, regret about it later. But youre right, rationally peopl should go bottom up, but i did try the cherry boards and while theyre great, there doesnt seem to be an ideal situation with a single board (switch behaviour, layout). Im not saying ill be done with the leopold, im just terribly itched to find out lol |

QUOTE(belfong @ Feb 6 2015, 06:08 PM) Bro, you've been looking for a CC at retail for the longest time and clack vent is an opportunity to get one. And time zone friendly too. Not e-mail nor raffles. I seriously think this is a good chance. Go try la well its still up to cc to 'choose' who wins the clacks. random? favourites? no one really knows and im sincerely tired of that. |

QUOTE(belfong @ Feb 7 2015, 01:26 PM) I am not sure how closely you follow the Clack Therapy thread. If you have followed that you will find that there were a few occasions where CC wanted noisyturtle to win, even indicating time he will do the sale. And yet, noisy didn't win. CC could have easily let him win if he wanted to. you are saying on just one example. i can also give you one, the draw that he 'chose' atlas because he hangs out at cc's thread so much and haven't won anything. cc even gave atlas the decision to choose his own colorway. not favourites? And on that Sunday where 39 people won, he actually wanted JDCarpe to win. For that Vent, there were 40 people who put their names in. But the random number generator failed to choose jdcarpe and picked someone else. So CC continue to draw for the next person. And yet, it wasn't jdcarpe. So, he continued to draw and draw and draw. JDCarpe turned out to be the 39th person to be drawn by the random generator and that meant there were 39 winners for that particular Vent!! (Joey Quinn was the only person who didn't win). If CC had wanted to 'choose', he doesn't need to let 39 other people win, does he? So, yeah, I don't think CC played favourites. and if you want to closely follow everything, please follow how cc use to 'zap' people and do private sales. don't get me wrong, i don't have any beef with you+cc or anything, i am just tired of the hypocrasy of the situation. they go all pitchforks on dupe cc's but they let naasfu hoarde them at insane prices and parade those prices at price checks. maybe not me, but surely someone else will take the void and make dupes, its just how capitalism works. |

QUOTE(belfong @ Feb 7 2015, 06:28 PM) Well, that's a good point but at the end of the day, it is his game and therefore his rules. I know you have no beef with me and all I am saying is that there is a good 60 days chance to win CC at retail price. There were about 8-10 draws today, a great chance to win something if you caught the right timing - with this odds, surely we can all snag one CC. Surely! thats why im cutting my time over there. i know a lot of other ghers in the same boat as me.I know atlas - great guy that I sometimes chat with him over Skype. I don't think he really know CC at all. He joined GH probably a year plus ago and you gotta admit that CC wasn't very active in GH at all. I will be surprise if he gave atlas dibs because he 'knows and favors' atlas. It's probably just pure luck for atlas. But I guess if you are sick of the hypocrisy of the whole GH forum, I can understand the lack of enthusiasm over this Vent. |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Feb 15 2015, 07:02 AM) i'm not surprised. because these 2 enthusiast groups can easily be of the same types of because both tend to invest in hardware with improvements most mainstreams don't fork out money for that level of improvement. because these 2 groups chase something that cannot be measured by numbers/softwares/rankings...» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Feb 15 2015, 05:33 PM) I have no clue what the fella butthurt so much. Just a year n half ago he was shopping for Armageddon mkb. the basic ones are linear and tactile. for gaming, more into the linear line for the easy double-tapping and such. tactile for feedback towards typing. but it can go any way you want it too.I am looking to replace initially my g15 and not g19 but then since u all said its a feel thingy so looks like had to get a few. So choose razer chroma, k70 rgb red, ducky shine 4 blue. I dont like ducky shine 4 looks, feel etc. K70 rgb dont like the alu and software. So hence was pleased with the chroma. As for logitech g910 will only know during this weekend after third day of cny will pop over so sg cause of a invite and get it. DAS professional 4 brown switches got it from amazon and status not shipped yet. Filco Majestouch Convertible 2 is not available in MY. CM.. well i dislike CM and anything affiliated with that brand after a few issues with them. I would think this 5 keyboards should cover most of the things i would see the benefits of Mkb and its switches. Do you see me advising somebody on buying a mkb. So if his rage continues its better if we meet in person. Settle it there and then. Baskets be emo needs a chill pill. any other features depends on you. yes its a feel thing. numbers and calculations very much out of the window when it comes to matters of the feels. there are $250-$400 single artisan keycaps exchanging hands so, yeah. no logic at all. be wary too about gaming-branded boards, they are made with cheaper materials comparing to their custom counterparts. filco is generally well-built and lasting while razer, corsair quite often come up with issues on their LEDs and material surface. ducky series 2 and 3 are quite good, DAS should be on par as well. |

QUOTE(DarkSilver @ Feb 15 2015, 10:04 PM) Wow, that's very good looking and VERY EXPENSIVE. the realforce digilog alu case is nice. dont think its available anymore though.Yea, I know the quality is unparalleled... I just don't like the design of the frame/case. Too much ROUNDED EDGES, IMO. Taste for design is subjective, some users will find it very pretty. |

QUOTE(DarkSilver @ Feb 16 2015, 11:15 PM) I always respect people with experiences. But, I don't appreciate mocking and being full of being an enthusiast. No offense. goes both ways to people with 'tags' and 'ranks' though. anyway, hope you don't take things personal. you are clearly helpful and interested in mkb stuff. there are many real sifus in here, i mean true sifus who don't give two f*cks about titles and stuff. hope you will actually learn something and we can benefit from your efforts as well. do you have any topre board? |
