Stay in Singapore. By doing so you save 2 hours a day. That's 40 hours a month extra for leisure, playing games, taking your wife on a date, spending time with your kids. I don't see the point in coming here work 10 hrs commute 4 hrs then you only see your family on weekends.

Stick to your plan, work your 2 years then apply for jobs in SG and see what kind of offers you get lor. If all the offers you get are only s$2.5k then your friends were right.
