QUOTE(mayonaise3311451 @ Jan 2 2015, 10:49 AM) So who aw gonna sign this January. Phua Chu Kang maybe. Yg ni mmg betul.Kalu abg Lehman keeper mampus defenders kena maki. Chesni siap minum2 air. Aku pun sakit hati tgk dia minum air right after that goal. Cilake ape bajet cool la tu. Anyway, last night we fully deserve to lose. Main ntah ape2. Southampton on the other hand were so good. One of the very few team in PL that has both physical presence and technical ability. |

give the Ospina a try now. The goalkeeping yesterday might cost us the top 4 now. See ManU so many games they play sh1t but de gea manage to save them get some points. But yesterday we played like sh1t & have a gk giving opposite team 2 assist, alarm bells are off now......

face it fellas, we're a team designed to qualify for 4th place.
last year we had a breakthrough, everyone important was fit, wenger's plan actually worked, then christmas happened and the old injuries came back, and we went from the team leading the league for the longest period to fighting for 4th. i'd like to fall out of that 4th place once, fking break that barrier for a moment. 4th place is like a safety net, whatever shit happened it's all okay now we're 4th we're gonna play in CL without ever coming close to winning it. break that fking safety net, fall down for once, address the problems. I'm not talking #WengerOut, i'm talking wenger to accept that we're a 4th place team, a quarter-final-CL-at-best team and that's not good enough. not good enough for Arsenal, not good enough for Arsene Wenger, and not good enough for some of our stars. you want to lose star players? because this is how you lose star players. the big question is is he still up for it. Just re-watched documentary on Henry and Bergkamp. Perghh the glory days of late 90s and early 2000s. Damn, sent shivers down my spine.
Back then when everyone feared playing against us. Teams hated facing against us, if not because of Henry's brilliance, then because of Viera and the likes of Tony Adams/Martin Keown at the back. Solid all around the park. From Goalkeeper all the way to our strikers. It has balance. Every department was strong. As much as people give credit to Henry, and rightfully so; if Henry was not playing, others would step up and take the mantle. Bergkamp, Pires, Viera, Ljungberg, Wiltord, Lauren, and many more that can be named. and most importantly, back then. Wenger was really, a genius. A masterclass of a manager. A manager that was really respected and praised. but looking at the squad nowadays, really sad state to compare. None of our players really have that deep rooted love for the club. I doubt if they even knew or took interest to know about the history of our club. Hence, why week in week out we can see on the pitch that the players, they don't really know what it means putting on that Arsenal jersey and playing for the club. In the past few games itself we can see players like Mertesacker ducking away from the ball when he's the tallest and should put his body on the line. Then Szczesny yesterday after concede the 2nd goal, paling menyampah. See his attitude really feel wanna puke. Champion on facebook/instagram but when comes to the field, all talk and no show. More than anything, what we really need to do is to get back to our roots. EDIT: Cleared about sleeves This post has been edited by LordDenning: Jan 3 2015, 09:52 AM |

More than anything, what we really need to do is to get back to our roots. and speaking of that, one thing i'm really curious about if you guys have noticed it as well, how come nowadays the squad jersey is not standard? I thought we always have this tradition of uniformity? Like, all players if captain chose long sleeves, then the whole squad plays with long sleeves. Nowadays some players chose to wear long sleeves and some short sleeves. ![]() |
