Prediction:
West Ham 0 - Arsenal 0 This would be a tough game for Arsenal as Big Sam would be deploying ultra-defensive tactic. I don't think the team can break down W.Ham defense like wht Chelsea did 2 days ago. Nothing personal. It's all about the game. |

It's all about the game. waddahek u think they will go for ultra defensive at home match + Arsenal frontman doesnt have Giroud. They'll play like they normally did this season, direct long ball to d wide areas to launch aerial attacks with their target man Carroll ready in d centre to "bulldoze" Mertesacker and another CB, bcoz that what their strong parts. And Nolan will be ready to punish any unguard free space in d centre, behind Carroll. |

downing has been unexpectedly fantastic so far, he seems to have mastered his left foot. carroll and/or sakho would be the danger men here, i would like to say nothing we cant handle, but i really dont know what to expect from west ham. soton had a really good fixture list that contributed to their great run, west ham just kept scoring.
dare i say mark downing out of the game and we'll be fine? song still has his occasional glory through ball moments, and carroll is a striker with confidence. it's going to be a gritty derby |

QUOTE(sigheart @ Dec 28 2014, 07:24 PM) Saw on Soccernet that West Ham actually changed their system in their last match and decided to just roll over against Chelsea to rest Song and Sakho because Fat Sam feels he has a better chance to pick up the points against us rather than at Stamford Bridge last time out. sounds dodgy to me. has to be more than that, FA orders perhaps? u knw every year they have their favourites and it just so happens that some teams will face a weakened opponent. money money money money....Despite the good things he has done this year with West Ham so far, still a despicable and spiteful human being eh. I guess some things never change. Based on current form it does look like we will struggle. A draw would still be a good result but I remain hopeful we will be able to scrap a win. We seem to have some defensive stability back with Debuchy back to RB and Per back to his favored right CB spot. Monreal seems to be improving each time he plays CB. Just hope Arsene doesn't go full retard and decides to start Chambers at either RB or CB tonight. Same defensive lineup as QPR thank you very much. |

iuno, if he feels that they have no chance against chelsea but have a chance against us, whose fault is that in the first place?
fair play if he feels that is the best tactical move, if he feels his team can never beat chelsea. tells you how confident he is of his players. but yet again, i'm not believing this. did big sam actually come out and said that himself? |

Good-bye Podolski. You will have a brighter future at your next destination. |

Santi will be blessed with pace around him, lets hope he can run the show tonite.
Also great to have Kosc back, feel much more confident with him at the back, esp when we have a striker like Carroll to deal with. The only concern is on the DM pairing. And Coquelin starts ahead of Podolski is a pure "fck you" statement from Wenger imo. Not sure it is because of tactical or what, because AFAIK Wenger doesn't do tactics. |
