Guys, if my iphone 6S jatuh masuk into the water, maxis sure void the warranty right? Then do they still accept 1 to 1 change with lower price? Eg RM1100 for it
*
I think all resellers and telcos sure void warranty for water damage. They will charge but I don't know how much - depends on your model and capacity.

I think 1to1 change is RM1699. Check with Maxis.

They will accept exchange, but it is rm1700+ or smtg like that, could be higher depending on model. And you will get a refurbished set, but still better than your water damaged set

Sorry, but I happened to be at Maxis centre today and I saw a notice stating "Starting from 1st January 2016, Maxis does not provide after sale services for iPhones, you have to go to AASP (Authorised Apple Service Provider) for after sales service" - or something along the lines.
So i guess Maxis does not do warranty claims anymore?

Then is it means that all warranty claim must be send to Apple directly?

If u do read in iPhone 6 thread, there is one person got some problem as yours. And he/she go to switch, machines and Mac city, end up exchange in switch as they offer low price for 1 to 1 exchange.

Well, that's fine as long as the AASPs don't reject us when we go there - had a friend previously who bought his 5S from a telco and was told by the AASP to go back to the telco when the phone was faulty. But I think it's wise that telcos don't provide after sales support. It's not their core business and in most cases they don't have the capability anyway.
