Ordered iphone 6 and 6+ 128gb about 3 weeks ago from Maxis (corporate deal to get rm750 discount off normal price for each phone). Maxis now say that 128gb iphones have chip problem and Apple is recalling some back, and will have to wait longer.
Decide to change to 64gb and told will Maxis will restock by next week.

Is this true? 128gb got problem? or maxis telling bs?

It's just before cny and usually on Friday. 2013 promo was meh. More on accessories. 2014 promo was good as i5s had some discounts. I can't remember exactly but you can check at soyacincau or similar websites. I thought it was good because Apple products usually no discount.

They have plenty of stocks but not releasing all at one go. Go make friends with one of them. They will hint u when is best time to go.

In my case, got silver 64g 6+. There's a plain looking Chinese girl there. Give her a bit of attention and soon enough she will be eating out of your hand just like a lil puppy.

Fine example of what I was saying. They're trained to give out random BS answers. I went there earlier this week and she said Maxis stopped ordering 64GB and 128GB iPhones. Absolutely ridiculous that they are making this a game.

My friend manage to get 1 unit of 6 Plus 64G SIlver at KLCC around 9AM.

Hi. Anyone who want to go maxis klcc tomorrow please inform me got stock or not for 64GB/128GB 6+ space grey.

Got my 6 plus 64gb space grey from maxis klcc 
At first i asked the chinese female staff and she told me that there was only 3 space grey 6+ coming this morning.
But then i tried my luck asking another malay staff again and i told her that some people online could get to reserve the device and she straight away told me the stock is available   
However, when i got the device and walked out, the maxis pak cik changed the availabily notice board of 6+ 64gb silver and gold from "sold out" to "available". He thought for awhile and pasted "limited stock" again on them.

I think Maxis has just got stock for 128GB. I got my 6+ 128GB space gray sent to me yesterday, but for corporate plan.

Went to Gurney Plaza again today.
1. Walk in and ask got stock for 6+ 64GB or not.
2. The sales girl "checked" the cabinet, and said got 2 units left, both Space Grey.
3. Sales girl said only able to do RM158 plan.
4. I asked whether they can do iValue or not cause I'm existing user, and want 2 units.
5. Asked for my numbers, and check via system.
6. Then started to said okay "can do", but you must buy a bundle package together.
7. The "bundle package" consist of 1 year 1 to 1 exchange include screen crack and masuk water, RM200, and 1 tempered glass, and 1 casing, another RM200. Total RM400.
8. *Buat muka confuse* And told the sales girl thanks will consider it.
9. After 20 minutes masuk again, and negotiate with the sales girl that only take the RM200 additional warranty, but not the RM200 tempered glass and casing bundle.
10. Been told to sit and make phone calls, for like 15 minutes.
11. Sales girl said "boss say okay can only take the warranty, but must buy at least 1 accessory from the shop"
12. In the end paid another RM80 for a tempered glass.

TBH I'm quite a careless person.
My iPhone 5, water.
And I cracked my 4.
So after discuss with the missus and we decide to pay the extra RM200 for additional insurance.
But what I don't really wanna pay is the RM80 bucks.

How about 2 year contract, also the same?
