Turbo is highly recommended because the body is heavy. But the engine is quite thirsty for city driving.

If u coming from continental, it is a saving. If coming from Perodua or Toyota, it is a guzzler.

MUST get the Turbo version.

I spent RM50 per week for Saga, does it mean I have to spend twice?
Yes you are right used. 2012. Selling about 20k.

Great to here, I had a 2011 Saga but it needed maintenance I spent over 20k now already
That's amazing sadly newer models are not available here.

Can I know what terms are being used here? Should I get Turbo version of Exora?

Turbo engine, its only give better fuel saving at national speed highway drive only. U drove 140-160kmh vs similar power in term of Hp of NA engine, the Turbo drink more fuel relatively vs NA.

And City driving, its not Turbo forte for fuel efficient, plus heavy body weight. But considering it relatively reliable apart from OCH (this better spend some for new OCH outside with better materials) then good to go for normal maintenance services.

For better saving, buy EO fully synthetic on Shopee Mall, CVT oil with Proton brand or if got bigger ball, can use Shopee Mall CVT oil brand. Can also put on Chatgpt for Shopee Mall CVT oil brand details vs Proton brand, chatgpt can summarize which on got better spec. Some brand shown on online (Shopee) for their model for like Viscosity at 40C and 100C, Total Base number, Viscosity Index etc, let the chatgpt study it for u

160k mileage

sometime last month, during a normal drive, deceleration, suddenly "kraaa~ kraaa~" noise

I immediately stopped the car by the roadside

No fault indication on the dash

Rootcause - OCH harden and crack, causing a leak, that dripped oil for about 1km distance until oil pump starved (the noise is oil pump)

I lost the service record, but probably it's at least 3 years?
Mine was the first type, full rubber, no metal interconnect

Previously used the metal interconnect, lasted 10k over and then leaking IIRC
Now, change to metal interconnect again, but the mechanic says it's better grade

No engine damage, resumed using after repair

Hey guys just bought exora 2023 Premium. However there's tons of stuff needed to be fixed. Anyway they ask me to replace my battery because it's dieng soon with Amaron an MF Battery instead of a wet-cell battery. Thoughts?

the steering bush seems to be another problem for the exora. Anyone with any idea if there's a custom silicon version available for exora? haha Though car still under warranty and can be fixed FOC i would like something longer lasting actually.

Also.. my car barely 3 year old thinking of changing already.

if my time during waja time, the original steering bush is black rubber materials, so not last long. Send normal workshop upgrade her with PU blue colour steering bush, nicer driving feeling

moral of the story, flooded battery will weak crank a day or two before totally give out. Change it when the symptom shows.

Now get TUFLONG NS60L

No idea there are a fake battery on the market. Based on my reading, will prefer buy battery from Bateriku apps, reason, can come my location outside working hours. And most of the brand offered with 18 month warranty period.

Their brand Astra model, giving more CCA rating than say Amaron, which is good considering the price is cheaper. The 2 brand that giving higher CCA is Astra and Camel (red and black color body)

Front - Hankook VP4 - 21.8k km (shoulders worn) center still 0.5~0.8mm to TWI
Rear - XM2 - I don't have accurate mileage because in between mixed in another set

now masuk XM2+

kedai tayar told me put 35psi front, to reduce shoulders wearing

any comments?
