Well~~not every one has the money to go for a RM4K folding bikes~~lets just say they just wanna enjoy ride like us without burning a hole in their wallet~~

i think we should not look down / discriminate them in any case~~show some sporting spirit and support for the sports guys~~

I also think the bike is perfectly fine and fun to ride~~which i ride one myself before~~i would recommend new comers to get one which is value for money before moving on to other bad ass bikes~~~

Wow, you shouldn't jump to conclusion. I DO NOT discriminate. I was merely commenting on the quality of these bikes being advertised. One does not get something for nothing, you know. We are all here to share everything about biking. Sometimes it can be an expensive bike and sometimes a cheap bike, so please do not say someone is showing off, otherwise no-one will dare to share anything. Likewise showing a cheap bike doesn't mean the person cannot afford a more expensive bike. To some people, that is all they need or want. So let's congratulate all bike owners as they all share the same interest.

For your information, I bought two bikes last week, one for RM250 and the other RM75. I buy what I like rather than by price. nod.gif

Not so rare? Any idea where i can find one?
i have seen cranks shaped like an egg before. They say it gives more power output compare to circle cranks.

hahhaa...for doppel i dont know where to find it in malaysia.maybe can oder direct japan laugh.gif

for oval type of crank,u can get brand rotor for the oval shape crank.also litepro already produce that type of crank.my friend said those oval type of chainring really helps u when climbing and make it easy, but cannot be used during race..

nevertheless, i need to try out myself later after i find suitable sealed bearing square taper type of bb.i heard can oder duraace square taper bb (maybe new oldstock),but the price i heard below rm400! *gulp

Hey, I got the same crankset on this bike that I've just bought. Never used a Biopace crank before, but I'll try it out tomorrow and see how different it is.

Here's my 1994 Trek 370 sport. Cromoly frame, 100% original, even the tyres! RM250, not bad eh?

I am sure the Montague Paratrooper (the original ones lah!) can support your weight. I am 100kg and have been riding Dahon Speed P8 with no problems at all ( even went bouncing around off road in estates around Sitiawan for 22 km) , so I guess plus the safety factor, it should be able to handle your weight. Why do you carry a 15kg bag? blink.gif

What's the best folding bike without lockjaw technology under rm3000? Purpose for cycling to work, must be able to be carried on LRT if it rains and long Sunday rides.

So far I like the dahon dash but they are less portable due to lockjaw. Looking for something like it but more compact when folded.

Saw the dahon formula s18 on YouTube which would fit my criterias but they are no longer available.

if u scouting for dahon formula, its hard to find right now even in 2nd hand market.but if u want a clone copycat of the dahon formula,u can get trinx ka2016d.same look but with 16speed, an alloy instead of chromoly and the price are cheap also!

instead of trinx,u also can get the dahon speed p8, rm2k+ and few bucks extra (still in ur budget),u can upgred it to 16speed or more!
