For your need, I think MIT would really suit you. It is not as expensive as a Brompton which is the best commuting ( as you are using it for!) , the MIT folds just as small and it's even lighter. It sells for over 2K though. It also has original 8 speed which is also good for your hills.
Other than that, since you are using it for train commuting as well, a 16 incher would be preferable as a 20 inch don't actually folds small either. Manageable , and the smallest 20 inch folds are Dahons. Maybe the Boardwalk, Speed or Vybe. As for Vybe the C7a is lighter than the C7s.

wah the MIT 2k above cannot afford for now

I think I'll get closer look at dahon vybe c7a. this is still within my budget and it looks like reliable for long term usage. thanks buddy

for budget budget look for foldy like these, complete wit rack n mudgards, price oso nice
got stolen or lost etc... oso won't rugi a lot....

my fren oso got trinx, compare with other budget bike, the seat post is larger and
once u unlock the seat post clamp it will drop down fast, like those more expensive bikes.
some other budget bikes, u need to grab the seat, pusing kiri kanan and push down with force
to make it go lower.

the folding joint is better than garion

can fold well.

thank you, but tak letih ke kayuh the 16"? as I also will kayuh to supermarket, in pj old town...
is this trinx better quality than garrion? for me although budget, looking also long term usage coz I seldom upgrade stuff, I always pakai until it cannot work anymore, like my phone is still htc legend with android eclair 2.2 lol (still good)... my watch old PUMA since form 5, now I'm 34 years old ha ha ha! so although looking cheap ones but not so cheap to compromise quality lah. just a decent one.
a seller recommend me Geomatric bike, I googled and found out it Malaysian made by Taiwanese manufacturer. anybody have exp with this?
