gonna save money to get either the noise-cancelling CK model or ES7 then.

Forgot to report back here
Got my CK100 from SE and have been enjoying it since then. Here's a brief review comparing it with my previous IEM. TF10P IE8 CK100 Reviews |

QUOTE(CLF @ Apr 24 2009, 10:15 PM) Already posted a short review past few days... Link is just few posts above. Btw, after burned in 200+ hours, the bass really popped up, similar to TF10P quantity but still less midbass. Deep bass more audible and can be felt shaking ala IE8 but more subtle. High also become mellower, similar to IE8 but more upfront but not as forward as TF10P. |

Not sure what's burning in but i suspect the thick cable or crossover. Shure and UE already mentioned there's no burn in for BA but i still noticed the effect on TF10P.
Currently CK100 effortlessly singing to my ears. NICE! Wont be filing for divorce soon hahaha |

somehow i think that a big cans can perform what a tiny IEM cannot do.... so still prefer bigger ones even if I would use it during commuting.

Never knew we had a community of Audio Technica fans here!
I own an ES7 myself, proudly too. My first 'expensive' pair of cans and still the only expensive one I'm using. I'm satisfied with the sound of it all, mainly because I'm not a very demanding user, but since I have a bigger head than most it makes me look stupid when I wear it, that and the fatigue kicks in roughly bout 40mins-1hour later. AD900 did catch my eyes, I don't mind the price... but comfort and sound quality wise, I'm hoping you gurus can provide insights if compared to the ES7. |
