Thanks for the briefing, I shall compare it to it's younger sibling the M30. 
So far no amps though, just play it through laptop or radio.

Immediately noticed the difference when I tried it with M30 side by side.


M50 sounds louder than M30 at the same volume setting. I've to tune down the volume settings of the computer and Foobar so that my ear won't hurt.

Bass is good, I like it. Played the same part of the song and tried to compare both. M50 > a burned M30.


I'd say it's nice, though it's just a few hours into burning in. Definitely will sounds better once completely burned.

AD300 don't need amp. Just using with a better source is nice edi~

my friend is using es7, tried it before, but not very comfortable for me, was eye-ing a500 and a700 now, dunno which to choose

guys , thinking of ATH M30 and ATH-AD300 , mostly listen to lastest Hitz music like kelly clarkson,Flo rida, Cobra Starship ,some OST like transformer and Final Fantasy ..
need clarity + detail , staying alone in a quiet room , wont need it outside

1) which is one comfortable after long hours listening ? this is very important
2) which one suit my need  ? bass balance , I afraid bass will affect clarity and detail

thinking of AD300 but just want to hear more opinions =)
