hi, all maxis wireless subscribers,
if u are not satisfy the service after maybe a few months later due to the poor service they provide or moving house, so & so , is there a way to cancel the service ? Or we have pay RM68 x 18 months even u are not going to use it after subscrition?

How do we check if we getting this UMTS or Edge speed?

My connection has been dc every 10 to 20 seconds lately. Maxis WBB sucks hard from day to day.

i think i will hold for this wiresless broadband since a lot of negative news from here

anyone using the service in puchong? how's the connection? okay? frequent dc?

at first when installed, i thought it was all good but

after two weeks of usage ~ tell you what

i only get connected 5 days out of 14 days of trying to connect

after my working hour. Call up Maxis -

Sir, pls reset yr modem, or try again in half an hour,we'll rectify

the problem ! Tried till midnight still not able to . S*X

Is the RSSI LED light up ? i answered YES ~

then Sir, it must be yr PC Problem. Oh pls , i've a notebook, a comp

, ps3 then it's all giving me problem to the connection.

I am giving up on this wireless modem and this sat , will

go apply for Jaring Wired .

Eh guys, I wonder if my place got maxis 3g network, does it mean I can use this Maxis Broadband package? I tried the location search at maxis website, but it says the service is currently not available at my area

If i change the antenna at the modem, will it get better signal? I'm only getting EDGE but i believe my place got 3G cos i also using HSDPA celcom and it connected at 3G.

hmm...my fren jz upgraded to 768kbps package...i can say significant improvement on speed (cant test actual speed) due to he has about 6 PCs in the house including his frens...everyone downloaded average 60~80kbps with download managers

hey did u all reciv the bill before the 30 days trial period end???
i juz reciv the bill 2days ago and i juz only using this lousy maxis WBB for 2weeks time...

so i call to C.service and it said my account is activated on 2nd Feb
i said WTF!!!!! i reciv all the thing(modem, phone) after CNY...i shoot them kaokao...ahd they said will solve my problem...OMG!!!

btw i will terminate the service by 2day...no longer hav internet before i apply for others ISP *sob*sob...

This is my speed using Maxis broadband and Ive been using for a week now but no invoice to been seen yet. Think I get 1000kpbs for TMNuts although I hate them now I think they are much better than Maxis.. see my upload speed..

At least TMNuts is giving me quite good speed nowdays but I still have problem downloading from some site since the cable problem. Sob..

This morning connection was so bad....its says connected with HSDPA but no data inflow. WTF.

I have resetted 3 times...Argghhhhhh

I feel that the higher is it the easier you get the signal and the faster the connection.
I have try at condo in tropicana - 8th floor.
