QUOTE(ZhangFei @ Jan 2 2015, 09:16 AM) I swipe twice in a month for petrol, each time around RM70, total around 140 a month, but I only get RM3++ cashback per month which is only cashback for 1 transaction per month. Anyone have the same experience like me? Ok, I just saw below statement, I'm going to terminate this card since it will charge me RM50 soon for the GST and I'm only get cashback around RM40 in a year. 5% Cash Rebate for petrol - Capped at RM500 for UOB ONE Platinum card and RM300 for UOB ONE Classic card per month - Maximum monthly Cash Rebate payout for the rebate category of petrol is RM900,000 which is to be given out on a first come first serve basis, based on UOBM’s transaction recordsUOB only allocated RM900.000 for 5% petrol rebate every month. U can pump petrol up to 13th every month to get 5% rebate. This is based on feedback in this forum. U can swipe until 13th of this month for petrol to gain 5% rebate or before GST charge to ur card 9whhich ever is earlier)

Anyway, I already switch all my spending to other banks few months ago due to disappointment with uob. So I will keep the cc in my drawer only. Just for info, citibank give me RM50 cash on 30 dec (without any request) but the uob...(called >10times plus send in letter, they just ignored me despite I spend a lots on the card). Don't know what to say.

The CS offered me to redeem voucher first, but I told him "I am dissapointed, I just want to cancel". Now when my card being activated, the points still remain

Apparently the CS has no authority for GST waiver. I think the retention will come back to your with GST and AF waiver.

It's capped at RM900,000/month for all UOB One card holders. Usually runs out by the middle of each month.

Redeemed Smart$ of 26.42 today at BHP.
Asked the cashier to check the balance first but they said can't do that. No choice but have to pump full tank. The balance paid off by swiping with UOB ONE.

The 5% as mentioned has a quota and usually runs out by mid month. The 2% Smart$ also has a quota depending if your card is platinum card (RM400 petrol spending) or not. Check UOB website.
