Appreciate your info althought the image is just white screen.
I follow the instruction on SMS to just reply and then the respond was ... something.
It's not the first time, got cheated by UOB.

I believe they just want to make money from the SMS that users sent to them.

Yes. My experience with UOB is they seldom waive for you even you spend a lot and swipe a lot. I called them so many times, write in letter to request also, wasted so much time. If want to waive AF or GST, better go for other bank. UOB might waive for you if you are really lucky. I am not the lucky one.

Their retention team may call you for retention package. Let's wait for month. If no call, I think your card is fully cancelled.

Currently, your card is temporarily being deactivated.

it's better to call them saying that you received the retention sms but were not interested, ask them to expedite your cancellation.

I swipe twice in a month for petrol, each time around RM70, total around 140 a month, but I only get RM3++ cashback per month which is only cashback for 1 transaction per month. Anyone have the same experience like me?

Ok, I just saw below statement, I'm going to terminate this card since it will charge me RM50 soon for the GST and I'm only get cashback around RM40 in a year. doh.gif

5% Cash Rebate for petrol
- Capped at RM500 for UOB ONE Platinum card and RM300 for UOB ONE Classic card per month
- Maximum monthly Cash Rebate payout for the rebate category of petrol is RM900,000 which is to be given out on a first come first serve basis, based on UOBM’s transaction records

you may freely swipe any amount (for petrol) until 13th of each month, then you may stop using it.
