QUOTE(ekiddie @ Nov 13 2006, 08:45 AM) i oso says tat elongated are more harder to source compared to stars... stars are everywhere! i'm sure smugglers had brought them in... Simple, this is because Star Tortoise have more demand compared to Elongated Tortoise.i've seen new stocks of them in most shops tat sells tortoises... QUOTE(sayasebuk @ Nov 13 2006, 10:02 AM) star tortoise for 50 cents? or do you mean the green turtle? Well, different turtles have different characteristics. But most of the turtles/tortoise will poo inside the water.i now feed my RES and malayan box outside of the tank. after feeding time, normally 1/2 hour to 1 hour later my RES will poo inside the water. But the same thing does not happen to my malayan box. After more than 1 hour still no more poo. So when i put back in the tank, he'll poo in the tank (not sure when does he poo. sedar2 dah ade). Do malayan box take longer time to poo? |

I prefer to take the big ones, they are nasty. QUOTE(kamekame8888 @ Nov 13 2006, 05:49 PM) Ya...Sulcata tortoise is nice too If they grow big and you cant take care of them, im glad to adopt it from you. Some of the forumers are doing so. They didnt even sell it to me, they give it for free to me. They just want me to take good care of them, provided i update with them about their turtle/tortoise when they are with me. Their love for turtle/tortoise never gone even without their chelonians with them. Kamekame. |
