lately alot of pignose turtles up for sale... babies and i'm tempting to get one... just indecisive whether to get or not to get as they are full-aquatic and i need a full tank of h2o for it to be happy in it... hmm... still thinking a 'yes' or a 'no'... aiseh!

I'm also looking for the Selayang store! Haven't found it yet. Now I wanna go to the Kin Fatt in Kepong too but dunno how to go. Anyone can gimme easy directions? By car or by public transport?  Easy to recognize landmarks please.

I have round 2 pet shops at selayang jaya yesterday. nothing to see

Kin Fatt got really really a lot of pig nose. I think around 15 to 20. The fish tank so full of them

Ok, how to go to Kin Fatt

Along Jln Kepong, Jusco Kepong is on your left. Head towards MRR2.

Go along Jln Kepong, you will pass by Projet. Slow down. Further down a bit there is a Caltex, immediately turn left after you see Caltex

Kin Fatt is just at the row of shop lots there

QUOTE(camillenoir @ Jan 23 2008, 08:20 PM)
i really doubt the fact that they are  false-eyed/hainan eyed turtle (Sacalia pseudocellata). The species is so questionable (might be intergeneric hybrid or even hybrid between S. quadriocellata and Cuora trifasciata) that even scientists and taxonomists are baffled. the seller probably heard four-eyed turtle and misinterpreted (intentionally or not) the turtle as false eye turtle.

when i got my Sacalias back then, it was wrongly labelled as Burmese Four Eyed Turtle. senseless, since Sacalias are native to countries on the other side of the indochina. not as bad as the vendors who claimed Notochelys platynota (Malayan Flatshelled Turtle) to come out of Africa, LMAO!!

truth is, sellers will come out with anything to make sales, so best make our own research.

Waahahahhah, he was so sure that they came all the way from Africa. LMAO

how about that 'big shot' who claimed his radiated came from sri lanka? another stupid blunder... claimed this and that, but don't even know the basics.

i really wish that he'd wake up!!!

The radiata in IRENE is not for sale

The alli in Jln Pasar is small. But I don't think you should go there and buy. Don't look so healthy

If want Ali got Kin Fatt buy. Looks quite ok

I booked the bigger one. The smaller one had some patches on its tail. I think the bigger one bit the smaller one's tail. They're selling at RM 330 to me lar. Picking up next week but got deposit la.

In actual I like the smaller one but my partner like the bigger one...

I heard Jalan Pasar is selling at RM 380? For alli, not common.
