Im a first time house buyer and quite shock with the amount need to pay for the tnb deposit as well.
What shoud we do? can we complain and will they change it to residential type of deposit.. I dont have fb page though to complain through their fb page..

There is no GP FB page from MS.. So we all have o complain individually to MS about this .. But no confident because they are developer... Haihzzz and we already purchased the unit ... China man company won't care about this too

We refer to the letter from Myvilla Development Sdn Bhd dated 16/3/15 (ref n.: MYV/T3-CAMBRIDGE/x-xx-xx). We hereby express our dissatisfaction pertaining apply of commercial tariff on the Garden Plaza service apartment.

As the matter of fact, there are many other service apartments in town have been applying domestic tariff, which is relatively low. Electric tariff conversion from commercial tariff to domestic (residential) tariff for service apartments is permittable, according to TNB.

We purchase the above-mentioned unit is for residence purpose, we strongly urge Mah Sing to convert Garden Plaza electric tariff from commercial to residential.

In order to meet the dateline given by Mah Sing for the TNB submission, we sincerely look forward to hearing from you before 25/3/2015.

hi peterspring, it just attention to the highest person in charge. as long as the complaint has reached to the customer service and they will direct your request to the particular dept.

no worries, they will provide you report number once they has accept your complaint. and let's wait for their reply.

Just found the TNB tariff from the website.
a comparison for commercial and residential rate, for the first 200 kWh.

RM43.50 - RM21.80 = RM21.70 (sweating...)

residential meter deposit only RM500.00 instead of 1k plus.

who else experienced could give us help??

I am currently overseas now, and I haven't receive any TNB letter. At this stage, I urge everyone to send a complaint letter to MH via email using the template provided by tissuepaperz. Also, please spread this message to other buyers of GP as well!
