QUOTE(wankel @ Nov 18 2014, 05:27 PM) It's something I'd like to do myself, I did it with my previous Hyundai and do enjoy the tinkering as well as gaining a smaller more pocket friendly key. The chip info is a bit lacking with some claiming an id8c which may be somewhat mythical as I've seen mention of universal types which has raised my interest. Lemme know if u need help I've ordered another programmer as my old one sadly won't handle proton, so I may work it out later, at least I'll have some fun playing. Despite an exchange rate that would indicate AU$1 = about RM3 as far as buying Saga parts goes AU$1 = <RM1 Soon enough I'll need to buy parts and I'm sure going to look into getting them sent from Malaysia, even with cruel postage charges they should still be cheaper than local supply. |

QUOTE(Christopher93 @ Nov 19 2014, 10:57 AM) If you're talking about enhancing clarity of stock Clarion, r3apers is not wrong. Original speaker is low output speaker with paper doom, hence the bass is consider quite cruncy liao. It will not punch until you can feel it by your butt, but it's very sufficient for normal use. That however, if you put after market high watt speakers, then you'll have no choice but need a higher power output amp to power them up.By adding 2 sets of tweeter can actually make the front end very clean. You'll need 1 set of ultra low grade(RM5 from Kedai Abang) pariah tweeter(so that piece of crap can bring out all the cymbal sound), whereas another set of proper tweeter that bring out the usual high pitch sound. For example human voice, breathing noise, guitar thread and sweeping sound. If you're panai enough, use capacitor to filter out certain range of frequency between the pariah/proper tweets, you'll get to hear Celine Dion jump in from your front windshield. Meanwhile, can go buy some copper wire coil to stabilize your stock speakers from being punching too hard on the bass whilst spoil your mid range. Leave to bass work hard on your rear speakers, and that's sufficient. Cheap & cheerful stock mod for budget ICEr |

I used to have the same problem when I was with my Levin seats ![]() Anyways, the best seat for me is Mazda Familia B6/B8 seats ![]() Decent butt grip. Soft and tender surface. Sufficient waist support. Doesn't feel like sport seats at all, but it does the job fairly nicely |

Detail claim procedure, finger your phone talk to your insurer.Once i start my engine then i turn on the a/c i hear a sound like glass breaking..and i turn arround i see that my back screen is cracking bit by bit until it fully cover the screen.. Mrs.Yab was driving, due to rain & bad drainage system, KL roads are always full of water puddle everywhere. Infront of us is a Satey Neo, lowered & loud exhaust. Can see it clearly from behind, there's a bunch of BEAKS fancy alu made lower arm braces. Half the time I saw the brace ady soak inside water puddle.
Have asked waifu to make clearance, stay far far away just in case if the front car stuck. True enough, not long after that the satey suddenly looked like hit a huge rock. It didn't clear a manhole pot. Saw the attached alu got ripped off from the lower arm mounting, whilst the lower arm mounting lifted the cover up before the brace finally broke off. The cover stuck between the chassis & rear bumper like u slot a coin between the door and pry. The whole bumper got ripped off from the car as well. Fuuuuu..... Some scary shit it is. Now that ayam worrying also whether the same crap will happen to me |

QUOTE(carcraze66 @ Nov 23 2014, 08:24 AM) Hi sifus, im having some small weirdo problem with my gaga. Do you watch over how they reflash the ECU? Or you came back pick up car, they told you they ady reflash? Besides, RESET and REFLASH make a huge different. Reset means doesn't change anything, just set every counter back to 0. If you car ady got semput issue, it will continue semput. Reflash means, upgrade from Windows 98 to Windows XP or from XP to Win 7, whatever that make sense to you. This only happens when reversing and suddenly the car will semput semput and sometimes even engine die off..whats the issue here? Btw cvt light still lit on once a while for few seconds and go off and sometime press SAT button on off then ok adi..went to SC and they say reset dunno ecu or tcu adi but still same ishhh Thanks!! |

QUOTE(carcraze66 @ Nov 23 2014, 10:00 AM) I didnt see them do it, was waiting at the waiting room. I went to the service centre in desa cheras. Basically there are no good or bad service centre. There's only good or bad customer relationship. You and I know, service center all business under the same roof, need to pay royalty to Plotong. Pirce are fixed by the principal also, do more or do less also same. Customer walk in volume all determined by recent 3 years sales in that area. If that area sale drop, meaning that SC service routine also will drop(make sense right? no new car, who will go back service?) So basically whichever SC you go, their procedure will be similar, the acting faces also look alike. My advice to you is:Now i understand! Lol thanks for the explanation bro. Btw if thats the case i think all they do is reset maybe? Need to go and make noise again then. Haha... Btw any better service centre in cheras ah? I feel the desa cheras one is not really good, is there one new service centre at balakong? near jusco cheras selatan 1) Find a decent service engineer/magician, get gam qing with him/her. 2) Everytime go back to that workshop, specially appoint that magician to work on your car. 3) Despite Plotong SC made it clear, customer not allowed to step in working area, u die die go buy goreng pisang go in & bribe your magician. If got enough goreng pisang, go bribe together the pretty cashier kakak. 4) When you get a chance, go ask your magician. Use car noob sohem tone to ask: I heard hor, my fren got go reflash ECU to new firmware hor, then in morning the kar no more jerk jerk jerk liao wor. Eih mai kar can do anot har? 5) Can ar? Whoah! Geng lor. I wanna watch u do can ar? Now use firmware version huat ar? Owh... The new version is huat version ar? Owh.... Where to see firmware version wan har? Here ar? Tengkiu wor. Eih nextaim I bai u cikenrais lunch har. Bai bai. These are the standard routine lar. If you don't practice it, rest assured you're getting "regular" treatment for any "regular" customer that oftenly change SC. We've got very reputable SC customer Mr.Razus Chia, 1 week visit SC 6 times. Eat SC karipap oso eat until SC know his feis ady |
