QUOTE(shinnasuka @ Dec 12 2014, 01:56 AM) Hey sifus, My saga is ady past the service date by about 2-3weeks ady. How much longer can I still safely drive this thing? The mileage is still pretty low because I hardly drive long distance. Technically, no problem. Engine oil can last atleast 10000km regardless of grade(even mineral oil) as long it conform API SM. Problem is, when you exceed your service date too much, you'd probably end up warranty void.Thank u very very much. |

QUOTE(shinnasuka @ Dec 12 2014, 08:43 AM) My current mileage is 16800, next service mileage is 18000, but service date is 21/11/2014. Car is 1 yr old and 2 months. Warranty ady long void due to ping pong piang. Since voided, then no need to fark. U'll just have to monitor your oil level, check on your coolant once in awhile. Do it on a regular basis and keep track of your timing belt. Timing belt is 1 thing that can't be avoid, if 2 years up, regardless of mileage, it's advised to change it.Cheers |

Castrol CRB for diesel trucks ![]() ![]() Plugs are out, since I don't normally pull out the coil on plugs, might as well change them. The clearance is a little wide for the old plugs, performance could be lowered by slight, but they're still in healthy region and if I'm not changing them out, could last me another 80000km? May be? ![]() This is my choice of sparkplug |
