Usually they unable to diagnose whether there's enough oil in the A/C compressor, but the receiver dryer has an open end for visual diagnostic purpose, 1 can observe refrigerant/oil flow pass after A/C being turned on.



That however, unable to justify when to change oil or top up as long as you see something flow pass that bottle. Hence, usually every 1 or 2 years those bugger at the service center will put that in your bill, they call it "preventive action".



Our local pocket friendly magician will use this to check on the actual refrigerant pressure in the A/C. When it's low, they'll top up. For top up, the bill is usually RM80(coincidentally the bill you shown is around AU$80 as well). For A/C full service that require to drained old gas and replaced entire system with new R134a gas, that's RM120.

Anor 3 months later, "ngong ngong ngong ngong ngong" agin. So he went change the rear bearings like he very smug. Manatau after changed ady still got minor "ngong ngong ngong ngong ngong" sound sent back SC check gebox lar, change taiming belt lar, change cranksab pulley lar, change tensioner bearing lar, change fead belt lar, a/c kompresor lar. In the end, found out front bearing hub was grinding with housing due to imbalanced offset Total damage close to 8k, include after trade in the rota rim replaeis wt a set of stock 14 alloy

So, in the end izit crank sensor? Or problem still unsolved?
