Oi i need help, whoever that playing bioshock now,

i need the original shaders.spk file.. not the SM2 one, and i mean the original shaders file.. Can Zip it and PM me? LoL~ Having big day looking for it..

I'm having this problem.. Many BDs don't have the sisters with them. I followed these BDs around he will go to round the map and knock on some tunnels. But never before i saw sisters coming out . Any ideas in luring these sisters out to their daddies?

Any good tips when fighting BDs? It seems I need to reload 5~7 times before I could actually kill them..

Keep dying and get rez back at the Vita Chamber...then continue shooting at him...Ur health will be replenished , but the BD's health doesn't....rinse and repeat until he dies

If don't wanna do so...then find a good hiding place....crouch down to enter the hiding place and shoot him...

Or place prox mines and use security drones to help take the BD out..

Or or use Winter Spring plasmid to freeze him in his tracks and take this time to attack him by unloading AP rounds to the back of his head...

There are many more ways to kill him...I'm just too damn lazy to write it all here

Many ways..

1. I think this kinda cheap and cheating. All you need to do is keep respawning at vita-chambers then use the spanar to whack the BD till it dies. Their health don't regen. I felt this is kinda cheating, when i die i reload. And if i can't kill it, i avoid it for the time being

2. Electric bulk shot works nicely. Always aim on the head. If you have explosion bulk even better i think. According to someone 4 ammo on BD's head on close range, he's dead.

3. Planning . Plant 2-3 proximity mines on a route that BD will sure need to pass through to get you. Then lure the BD using 1-2 frag grenades. If BD takes all 5 bombs, he'll be critically injured. Finish it off with electrobolt+shotgun (normal ammo will do).

4. If you high level enough can always use hipnotize

Or you could do it the ultimate way by modding your Bioshock file and use the traditional way of cheating...

Here is how to do it:


This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "defuser.ini" file in the game directory. Set a key binding to the following codes (for example, "F10=fly"). Then, press the corresponding key during game play to activate the corresponding cheat function. Note: Any active codes are disabled when a new area loads or intermission sequence plays. (mode on the left, code to type in on the right)

* Disable Clipping - ghost
* Disable "fly" and "ghost" codes - walk
* Flight Mode - fly
* God Mode - god
* Teleport To Pointer - teleport

It will be the cheapest thing you will ever do...but you can finally kill BDs with only the wrench...

wheres the thrill of being 'bulldozed' by the BD n thrown few metres back.

tried using wrench before, but i think need to die like 20 times, before can kill it.

i try this cheat b4 but it doesnt work at all

Had issues with the cheats. However, just do a 'Find' for let's say, the F10 key. Everytime there is a F10= ... , you just type =God

Meaning
F10=God

there will be many other F10 keys
keep typing F10=God for the whole defuser.ini (wherever there is F10)

The easiest (in fact, I would say downright dirty) method in clocking the Big Daddy is none other than to use the Chemical Thrower with Electric Gel loaded. The Big Daddy will be completely paralysed as long as you blast him with electric, and you can deal out about 3/4 damage on him with 100 Electric Gel ammo. With the gel, you can kill the Rosie without having any damage inflicted to yourself, what more the Elite Bouncer who can only fight in close range.

Another marvelous weapon against the Daddies is the Crossbow. Even with Steel Tip Bolts, you can cause a serious amount of damage if shot to the head. Just shock, shoot the BD on the head and repeat until he falls. Easy. And obviously, some bolts can be plucked out from the BD after he's killed.

BTW, here's something that you guys should know. In Fort Frolic, there is an extra Little Sister you can hunt down. If you finish the level, you'll notice that you have saved/harvested "4 out of 3" Little Sisters. This is a wonderful opportunity to get extra ADAM or claim a gift from Dr. Tenenbaum. In fact, if you save the 4th Little Sister, you're given a hint that there may be more of them hidden throughout the level. And yeah, Fort Frolic is easily the scariest level of all.....

Playing at the early parts of this game.

It's brilliant... vibration... when the big daddy walks, it vibrates
I thought it would be difficult to play on a gamepad but no, its way much more fun!

Playing at 1280x1024 max details on 3.2Ghz dual-core, 2Gb ram and 7800 GTX.

And BTW, has anyone gotten a way to enable anti-aliasing? Is it for GeForce 8 Series and above only? Coz' Unreal Engine 3.0 typically DOES NOT support anti-aliasing... unless some tweaks are done

actually if u upgrade ur chemical thrower's damage and consumption.... u can kill the BDs with just 100 electrical gel ammo.

i usually shock him first.... then gel the feller!


anyway...just finished playing the game got the goodie 2 shoes ending...

Help. I'm currently in arcadia. On menu shown 2 sisters in this level. But i saw many BD without those sisters. Been following them around for sometime but couldn't find any sisters

i just finish the whole game =.= the last boss so easily to defeat

Do note that there are many holes within Arcadia where the Little Sister can crawl out of. You just have to search one by one. I encountered this unusual situation myself, although just once and it was only temporary. In fact, there was a very rare occasion when I saw TWO Little Sisters with the Big Daddies walking on different platforms in Fontaine Fisheries. In Fort Frolic, you can even find a secret fourth Little Sister if you search hard enough.

1. FIND ANOTHER BIG DADDY AND MAKE THEM FIGHT EACH OTHER!! MUAH HAHAHAHA! THEN KILL THE WEAKENED BIG DADDY WHO WON WITH GRENADES THAT U SAVED UP!

P.S to ataris, the hand moving bug isn't that big a deal anyways. No it's not buggy.

I've been following these BDs all around for quite a long time. Each BDs are programmed to only patrol a specific area. It will go round to one specific area and knock on those holes on the wall to call the Little sisters. I've been following few of the BDs around all have their own separate routine. Followed these BDs merry go round but none of these sisters coming out

I read somewhere.. If you pause on the menu screen.. They symbol with only the sisters are the ones that you harvested or rescued. You can only find sisters with the symbol that have both sister and BD together. Can anyone confirm this?
