And you're running that on the E6850 @ 3.0ghz? Plus you're on SLI as well. My 20-30fps is after I oc'd the 3800+ to 2.5ghz. If it was stock, it would've been lower. I did try the game on a GTX which a friend brought over but I didn't take note of the fps although the general experience was much smoother. I'm guessing it's the extra RAM. Anyone with a 8800gts 640mb is willing to confirm this?

Also, did anyone else noticed that Bioshock is capped at 60fps? All in-game cutscenes are running at 60fps constant . So I'm assuming there's a cap there.

The 8800gts is beginning to suck. So far, the new games that come out is really killing my card. At 1680x1050 res, games like MOH:A, Bioshock, Company of Heroes and Lost Planet can really murder the gts in DX10 Vista. Either that, or nvidia has really bad drivers for Vista. This new era of DX10 gaming is turning into a nightmare.

Bad drivers. Really. Everyone is now complaining about drivers, and not the OS after many review site and mags tell them that it was not the OS's fault.

yeah E6850 @ stock. cards @ 580/1700. tried again last night and was getting 40-50 FPS on first level....

theres a promotion for the forsa GTX at c-zone (if i remember correctly..check 8series thread) with a veli good plice. can ask ian about it.

Hello all...is there anyone playing this game with a GC below RM500 for Med-High 1280x1024?

I'm hoping there is a card that fits my budget for that resolution, min FPS 23-25...is there such a thing right now?

try a Nvidia Geforce 7950 or ATi Radeon X1950...should be able to run though u might need to lower ur graphical settings and effect settings..

I got 35-47 fps if I turn everything to high at HD 1280x1024.

Reach 60 fps if drop resolution to 1024x768 and settings at medium...

this game is definitely optimised if u have a multi-core CPU n a decent gc.

not like lost planet or colin mcrae dirt.

well..my FPS hovers from high 20s to 30+ using an 8600GT...resolution at 1280x1024 @ high on everything....using 163.44 forceware and i think that driver's the one that is bumps up the FPS...running on an oldie AMD3200+, 2GB DDR RAM all stock...

my previous rig was running 20-30fps as well, but when intense drops to 10+....susah la lidat..
