I am applying for this card.

I made my application via phone direct to Maybank this Monday. Since my montly salary is bank in the to maybank. So I need not to submit any documents at all.

BTW, I am MBB 2 Card user, which i gonna keep them in freezer soon... 

Anyone applied thru the same way and get approved?

my salary also bank in maybank, and i applied ikhwan same way as you, but rejected.
email to separate limit only got approved.

Of course you can apply like normal but Ikhwan till date has one of the highest rejection rates compared to other cards. I have been rejected twice and just approved recently after I agreed to split limit.

Ways to get Ikhwan MasterCard:
I) Apply like normal applications
II) If method I fails, then ask to split limit from your existing conventional credit limit to Islamic credit limit.
III) If method II still fails, convert your existing Maybank card to Ikhwan.

Thanks for the tips, the CS didn't told me the limit thing. Did they inform you they rejected you? Or need to call and ask?

It works but you have to go through stage 1 first and only if it is rejected, you write in an email to get it approved. I split my limit only being approved.
But I only asked to split RM 2k because I will not use it that much though.

Nope, they will not inform you. You will need to call to check the status.

Huh, sometimes just very frustrated and feel hopeless with local firms.

Last time i applied from SC bank, they actually sent me a notification to tell me that they rejected me!

if u hv m2u, and it gets approved, usually you will see it in ur m2u within a week. if more than that, it could mean you're rejected and need to call to confirm

Applied on this Monday, today already appear in my M2U

bro you mean using the maybank phone apps to apply?

Call the Maybank Service Centre, say you want to apply credit card. Then they will get your phone number and pass to their credit card department. In hours time the credit card center will call you.

Just need to go thru a few Q&A then call it done~ Simple and sweet!

i actually did call them but they just told me got rejected lol then i thought have to reapply again but now saw someone mentioned split limit help and you applied through phone few days got approved  going to call them now and c how lol thanks bro

just called them.they said able to nego and adjust until i get the card.wait for ttheir email now      impossible got money earn dont want ma~lol
